Plot:
A group of kids were all on their way to a party together. When they become late, they descide to take a short cut through the forest. They suddenly end up in an isolated land. A mixture between a desert, and a forest. There are trees in some places and hot desert sand in others. They soon run out of gas in their car and get out to try and find a way back. Soon they are lost, and confussed.
One of the group members, and the youngest, yells that she saw something. When the others turn to check it out, there`s nothing there but some sand that was blown up by the wind. Soon sounds surround them, and then they see what the young girl had seen. A large herd of horses of all breeds stand around them in a large circle.
The kids look around in astonishment at the horses. Soon the wind picks up again, and when the sand settles back down the horses are gone. Only one mare stands alone, and she soon starts walking away. Soon after the kids start following her, they find themselves back on the street where they had taken a short cut, and the mare is gone.
Just after, a group of searchers find the kids and take them back to their small town home. Just days after getting back, they hear that the town is going to expand over the desert-forest land, and now the kids must do everything they can to save the herd, and the mare that saved them.
Can they make it time, or will the adults prove to strong, and the horses of the land, perish?
