.:Intro:. "Run all you like, you're not going to get away." The voice echoed in my head, causing me to flinch. Like hell I'm gonna stop running! I though as I cut another corner of the dark street. Although the light posts ever still on, everything seemed dark and dim. The sharp autumn air stun my lungs and cheeks as I ran, my legs going as fast as the could. Something was following me... and I didn't think it was human.
I had seen it only by chance as I exited the coffee shop I frequented to study. I simple flicker of a shadow to the right, and the chase had begun.
This thing was following me, hunting me, and there was no one to stop it.
"Getting tired yet, human?"
I cursed, sensing it's presence getting nearer. I wasn't used to running this fast for so long. Every nerve in my legs screamed for rest, but if I stopped it would catch me.
Suddenly, I no longer felt it behind me, and I foolishly slowed and looked behind my shoulder.
That was when it rose up from the shadows in front of me and I spun back around the face it, my blue eyes flashing with fear.
This seemed to amuse it.
It looked almost bird-like, but it's body was long and pitch black, as if it was also part dragon. It's crimson eyes flashed at me and I flinched, taking a step back.
It took me a second to notice that it looked as worn out as me. It's flanks were heaving and for the first time I noticed some black oozing off of it's left wing.
Was it hurt?
"Listen. Human." It growled. It did sound tired, but not enough to make it seem anywhere weak. "I am dying. The Spirit Beings have gotten me and you will become my host. In exchange for your life-force, I will give you power. More power than you could ever believe. You will fight my battle for me until I consume your soul. Win before then, and I will leave. Take too long and you will be eaten away and I will find a new host." It straightened up more, and looked down at me for a level nearly twice my height.
I had no idea what it was going on about, but my mind figured out enough to this thing would hurt me. Eat my soul, did it say?
"Do not try to run." It growled, noting my tensed body.
I did just that. I spun on my heal and dashed in the other direction.
The last thing I heard was the 'woosh' of it's wings before I felt an unimaginable pain in my back followed by my chest tightening to the point I couldn't breath. I staggered for a moment as the thing pushed it's way inside me, coiling around my heart until I thought it would burst.
It had somehow entered my body and hidden in there.
The pain increased more and more and my eyes began to burn.
I let out a single ear-splitting scream before I felt to the ground, my body spazming until I finally slipped into unconsciousness and stilled. Not a single mark left on my body to show that a horrible creature was now wrapped away my heart - and my soul. .:Plot:. For centuries, the Shadow Creatures and the Spirit Beings have been at war. They do not exist in this dimension, but their constant battles have shifted the tide and they are oozing into our world.
Both have realized that humans are a valuable tool in battle. While the Spirit Beings have chosen to create pacts with their humans, the Shadow Creatures force their pacts onto their human in a parasitic relationship.
Naturally, one would *censored*ume the Spirit Beings are good and the Shadow Creatures are evil, correct? Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. As the war unfolds to select humans who have joined the fight, they will have to realize who is truly evil, and unravel the mysteries of how the war even started. The future looks dark indeed. .:Information:. You play as a human, either bonded to a Spirit Being or fused with a Shadow Creature. Both choose to bond to humans who are young, but mature in age, meaning in their teens.
Spirit Beings are most often considered spirits or ghosts. They make contracts with their humans and it's a mutual agreement. They stay outside their human's body at all times and usually take the form of a particular animal (although they can have any form they wish, even humanoid.) Their true forms are ghostly, but they can make themselves appear normal at will. The weaker they become, the more they appear to be like their true form. If a Spirit Being dies, so does their human and vice versa.
Shadow Creatures are parasites, injured or not, they feed on the life-force of their human and in exchange, share their power so their human will fight for them. They often look demonic and their true forms are shadowy, but like Spirit Beings they have no limit on how they can appear. Usually they stay inside their humans body but if they come out one can always tell who their bonded to because their shadows will connect. If their human dies, they will find a new host and if they die their human will be released from their hold.

1. Res rules apply.
2. No God-Mod, PP, Mary-sues, etc.
3. Violence is a must. I don't mind graphic, just don't go seriously overboard in describing it. 4. Romance is allowed just not same-character romance and no insta-crushes. Your character has to get to know the other one first. Just in real life, romance develops, not bursts in to steal the show.|
(Seriously, I didn't have romance in mind when I made this but I'll never forbid it.)
5. This is literate. Li-ter-rate. I expect you to be able to write well and at least 5 lines per character. I can understand you having a serious brainblock or just don't have much to reply to, but if it goes on to the point it bugs me, I will tell you to start bumping up the literacy.
6. Keep genders mostly even but I'm not too strict with this. I just don't want a bunch of girls running around and barely any guys or vice versa. 7. I do want Spirit Beings and Shadow Creatures to be mostly even. The point of this is war, and I want a colorful cast on each side.
8. Humans are just humans. The only powers they have are their Shadow Creature's.
9. Do not go too far without me.
10. Make this last. I worked hard on this plot (and am still working hard on all the plot twists) so I don't want you flaking out or just posting a bio.
11. My word is law. If I tell you to stop something, stop it. Typo is also my co-owner. Since I've been telling her about this over Skype as I was making it. |D

Personality: Sethos is rather... unstable. Although he usually acts calm and serious, totally alert to his surroundings, bonding with Nyroc has made him very unstable emotionally. Even the smallest thing can set him off into an emotional breakdown or even a suicidal or violent rage. He's tortured by Nyroc and his pain and fears and can not open up to anyone or trust them. Not wanting to worry those around him, he hides this. Continuing to act like his pleasant self before Nyroc came along.
History: *Pokes Intro* Additional Details: Wears two silver chain necklaces around his neck. His eyes will often flash or glow depending on his or Nyroc's emotions. He also is quite the shorty. :P

Personality: Yamato is usually calm and collect on the outside, but on the inside he's a thrill seeker. He has a strong will to fight and he's actually quite a skilled swordsman. Giving up is not something he'll ever do. He's as stubborn as they come. He usually acts like quite the kind man, but his smile is the kind that makes him seem up to something. Despite only being human and often facing off against humans fused with Shadow Creatures, he's still quite the strong battler.
History: Yamato is a college sophomore studying abroad from Japan. He was always at the top of his cla.ss and kendo club. He typically spent most of his time outside, reading under a cherry-blossom tree on his college grounds. It was there where he met Sakura on his first day in America. She was in her kitten form, hobbling past him with a twisted paw and several fresh cuts, having just fought a Shadow Creature. He knew she was special and took her to his apartment, nursing her back to health. There she explained about the war and how some of the fighters were somehow drifting into the human world. He readily joined the fight, despite Sakura's pleads for him not to. Additional Details: None
Other: He was one of the first (first in this roleplay >:U) humans to join the war, having bonded with Sakura over a year ago. She doesn't like to fight much, and in battle she often aids Yamato instead of being on the front lines. She's calm and friendly, loving to be pet on her head and she is quite fond of Yamato. Other: She has minor healing powers. Not enough to bring someone back who is dying, but in most cases enough to stop a wound from bleeding or heal minor cuts.

Personality: Despite her rather in-your-face appearance, Maxine's mostly a shy girl who has an unfortunate stutter. Because of this she doesn't speak much and flushes every time someone points this out. Being born into a family with five other siblings she often seeks attention shamelessly (albeit in her own quiet way) and enjoys praise simply for the fact she never really got much when she was younger. Of course, now that she's possessed by a shadow creature she's prone to violent outbursts and shouting matches with whoever sets her off. Personality: Sharp and careful. He does have violent outbursts (which usually show up in Maxine at the same time) but can control himself as long as nobody bothers him. Thaddeus is very cunning and relies on brains rather than brawn. Other:

I don't believe in images. Why? Because I have no art for my character, and I dislike using other peoples' characters as my characters looks. So, I will write it up: Sam is roughly 5'1 with shaggy, slightly curled light blonde hair. Sam always wears a chain-link loose necklace that goes down to the end of his ribs. He has fairly pale skin, and a light brown birthmark on his cheek that looks like a curled up cat. He always wears a white shirt with a collar on it, and most often wears regular jeans, unless he's doing exercise: he wears black track-pants always. He barely ever sweats, so he could wear a single shirt for a month without it smelling. He has very pronounced elbows, and moderate muscles. He has large feet, which usually don't have shoes or socks on them.

Personality: Nadia has always spoken her mind and been quite a trouble maker. She hates taking orders and isn't one to really show her emotions. She does like to have fun, but it might not be the fun your thinking of. She used to be quite a trouble maker but ever since her bond with Sin, she's a lot more quiet and in check. For some reason Sin has made her a lot nicer but that doesn't mean she's not on her toes all the time. She's still rather quick thinking and has the tendency to jump to conclusions. If she doesn't like something she won't hesitate to let you know.
History: Nadia met Sin one night when she was walking home. At first she thought it was a rabid dog and thought it would be interesting to taunt it to see what it did. When the creature attacked then began speaking, she freaked trying to get away, but Sin was ontop of her whispering words of sweet temptation which only sucked her black little heart into an agreement with the creature. (Fail. ^.^ ) Additional Details: Because of her attachment with Sin, she has a weird tattoo that runs down her back kind of like the designs you see on Sin. *points to Sin's picture*

She's hates benig undermineded and has a bad attitude most of the time. She also has a quick temper. You will hardly ever catch her calm, but whens he is that means she has something up her sleeve/paw. Other: Nothing.

((Tld, Faux's picture stretches the page more and more every time I see it. :x Can you please shrink it? Also, Kitsunes can be of any size, depending on the lore. Naruto's Kitsune was absolutely ma.ssive while in Inuasha there are tiny chibi-like kitsune about the size of a child. Size isn't the matter with kitsunes, it's the amount of tails. The more tails a kitsune has, the more powerful it is. Everyone is accepted. :3 I really like the creativity everyones putting into their characters. Hmm... let's see everything's about even. So yes, Full, you can have another male charrie. :3 If you want, just put their full deion in the other details box. I usually just want people to use pictures because some are horrible at deions but you're fine. ^^ But could you put a little more detail into Sam's personality? :x I'd doesn't have to be much.
I haven't replied to the emails yet, Rika. ^^; I'll go do that now.

Personality: Peter takes time out of his boring life to make other people understand how horribly miserable he is. Peter hates his first name, which was given to him by his brother, and will only answer (He still probably won't) to Peter. Not Azimuth or Pete.
Peter is autistic, and spends most of his time in his own imaginary world that he's constructed for himself.
The only thing that can make Peter crack a smile is cats, domestic or wild. He collects posters of these amazing creatures and keeps them safe from harm, and making sure no one discovers his love for cats.
Peter is also very smart, he just decides not to share his knowledge with anyone else.

Peter is a very skinny, unhealthy looking boy, whos face barely ever moves, smile or frown. All of his clothes are second hand, thus bigger than him, making him look like an odd kind of bat when he flails around.
His hair is a muddy (Literally) brown, with the occasional light brown or white hair in it. His feet are way to big for his body, sort of like a puppy not yet grown into it's paws.
His eyes are quite large, making him look quite cute when you focus only on them, not the rest of him.
His skin is very tan, and in the summer he gets sun-burns very often.

To everyone, I finished my Spirit Bond's profile. I'd like everyone to at least look at each other's bios. It makes things easier, believe me. And when I meant 5 lines per charrie, I meant as far as Bonds. Meaning if you only have a human and and bond, you don't have to write 10 lines, only five. That makes it a little easier. ^^;))

Just so we all know it's Peter. I remember one roleplay someone was using first person and it took forever to figure out who. o_o; So difficult.))
