Are you ready?
You heard a voice one night...a voice telling of some great catastrophe to come in future. But you didn't know just whose voice that was, giving you the warning of events to come. That voice...was the voice of a Legendary Pokemon.
The Legendary Pokemon have knowledge of a great catastrophe about to befall the world...Deoxys, the legendary Pokemon from deep space, will come to Earth and wreak havoc upon the land. It'll take more than one person to defeat Deoxys when it comes...so some Legendary Pokemon have chosen humans to assist in ensuring the safety of the Earth.
Will you be able to keep the world safe?
Standard RP rules apply here (respect other RPers, be as literate as possible, etc). Just one character per person, please. Also, I'm only looking for four other RPers apart from myself. Shiny Pokemon are allowed, and that applies to Legendaries as well. Any Legendary Pokemon is allowed, apart from the following: Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, Mewtwo, Mew, Genesect, Deoxys. An element of romance is very much encouraged, thanks. ^_^ Oh, and Phione is not counted as a Legendary Pokemon.

Name: Donna-Marie Jackson Gender: Female Age: 16 Looks: Personality: Donna-Marie is, has always been, and probably always will be something of a tomboy; she refuses to wear more feminine clothing (e.g. dresses, or anything pink) and absolutely despises the stereotypical 'girly-girl' type of person. In addition to this, Donna-Marie finds it easier to talk to the opposite gender, probably because she is something of a tomboy herself and has grown up with several brothers, but with no female siblings. Overall, Donna-Marie is a very nice person and a brilliant friend, being optimistic, cheerful, kind and very loyal. She is also very much a daydreamer, daydreaming pretty much all the time when she doesn't have anything better to do. Her imagination is vivid, and she can often be found expressing it in the form of drawings or stories (she is adept at both drawing and writing). She is also a very good battler, and cares deeply about her Pokemon. It is worth noting that although Donna-Marie has very impressive skills, she never brags about them, being very modest and easily embarassed by praise; for example, she might draw a picture of remarkable quality, but shrug it off as being 'pretty good'. History (optional): Donna-Marie grew up with her family, who run a Pokemon Day-Care centre. Her family consisted of her father and five brothers (three older, two younger) with whom Donna-Marie shared a firm bond. Her mother left them while Donna-Marie was very young and as such she has no memory of her. Having very little, if any, time to socialise with other girls, she acquired the tomboy attitude she still maintains today. Growing up among many different Pokemon, Donna-Marie had dreams of becoming a great Pokemon trainer and setting out on her own journey. So she was overjoyed when her father gave her a Pokemon Egg on her birthday, which hatched into a Shinx. With that Pokemon by her side, Donna-Marie set out on her journey, befriending more Pokemon on her way. The most recent event of her journey was her meeting with Rayquaza; the Legendary Pokemon saw the potential inside her, and thus became one of her Pokemon. Name: Daniel 'Danny' Westlake

Age: 17
Looks: An attractive young man, often seen with a smile on his face. He has blonde hair in a cool, untidy style and bright blue eyes, his skin being a little pale. His build is somewhat slim, yet muscular, and his height is 5'9''. Danny wears a quite formal outfit (work shirt and trousers, with a VERY expensive-looking jacket thrown on too). His shoes are smiple black ones, which seem to be polished. He has a tattoo of a Pichu on the right side of his neck, usually hidden by his jacket collar.
Personality: Optimistic, cheerful and friendly, Danny might be rich but he knows his manners. He is very courteous to others, polite at all times and always willing to lend a helping hand. Also, in the right mood, he can be quite flirtatious. It's rare for him to be angry, even when he is angered then it is rare for him to retaliate. Unless a Pokemon is in danger, that is...in which case he will do absolutely anything to keep that Pokemon safe. He is very fond of smaller Pokemon, finding them to be much cuter than larger ones (his Milotic is an exception to this rule).
History (Optional): Not much is known about Danny's past, as he rarely talks about it, but it is known that he came from a VERY rich family when he was growing up. He was educated at home and recieved his first Pokemon on his 10th birthday (his parents asked him what Pokemon he wanted, and he had told them that he wanted a Pichu, and that's exactly what he got).

((You can join, and the region would be Sinnoh. Pokemon from other regions can be found, though, including Unova, though Unovan Pokemon will be quite rare. Unless your character originated in Unova, that is, and came to Sinnoh for some reason.))

Looks:  Personality: She is the kind of person who is very solitary, and she hates to be helped with anything, except when it comes to her pokemon. They just walk all over her life. She has an extremely strong relationship with all of her pokemon, but especially her shiny Zorua and Manaphy, who would do absolutely anything for her. She is very smart, and often tries to help other people, but she more often hurts then helps, because she has an odd way of remembering things.
History: She has had a disease since she was little that makes her extremely weak and frail. Her bones could collapse at almost any second. her parents never wanted her to go on a journey, but she found her Zorua, and they decided that if she could catch a pokemon as rare as that that she could go.
Pokemon: Her manaphy named Sapphire, her female shiny zorua Midnight, her female gardevior Dream, her female pichu Sparkle, and her female shiny serperior Snivy (Hey, why fix it if it isn't broken?)
Crush: Doesn't have one, but open.
Other: She is afraid of floods.

Looks:  Personality: Intelligent and creative, but a bit blunt, Rosie doesn't make friends easily, as her starting comments are a bit... rough. As a no-nonsense girl, Rosie is a tomboy most of the time, and constantly proves she can be a tough as the boys.
Her dream is to capture a shiny pokemon.
History: Rosie was born in the Unova Region with her mother, father, and younger brother. She ran away from home when she was thirteen, but came back a year later, and not telling anyone what had happened, even her mother, whom she had a strong bond with. She lived there in Unova until recently, moving to Sinnoh to help her frail grandmother. She dislikes it there, but cares for her grandmother too much to make a fuss.

Here I am and with a male char too! ^_^
Name: Luffy Altier Gender: Male Age: 17 1/2 Looks: Luffy has messy, medium length hair that is pitch black and the tips are orange. His eyes are two shades of purple, a brighter amethyst like color around the pupil that goes out to the darker shade, which is on the the edge of his iris. Luffy stands at 5'9', he slouches usually so he looks a few inches shorten then he really is. He has darkly tanned skin, but has and odd paleness to it. He's thin, but has a slight muscular build. He wears black dress shoes, a white button-up shirt, a black vest with a silver dragon insignia on the back(Link) and a pair of black dress pants. He always wears a straw hat(the hat is actually black and the band on it is silver instead of red), which looks a bit out of place yet at the same time, fitting on him.. Personality: Luffy is very secretive and has never been much of the talker. He's often seen as detached from the world. Even though he keeps a cool and composed look all the time, he actually has a short fuse and goes ballistic on people if they anger him. Even with the negative perks, he has a nice side, which it seems only his Pokemon see. History: Losing his parents at a young age caused him to become anti-social. His family worked in the study of Pokemon, which fascinated him and inspired him to continue his parents current research, which is classified to the public. After some years he realized he wouldn't complete his parents research unless he left the estate and traveled abroad. The public believe he left the life of luxury to become a Pokemon trainer. This has allowed him to make great progress in his research. He's visited strange and far off lands. Seen and much avoid other humans and meet the Pokemon he now call friends. Luffy originates from Kanto. Pokemon: Abbadon, the male Shiny Charizard(his starter). Ojike, the female Shiny Raikou(She's a bit of a runt, so she's smaller then most other Raikou). Terra, the female Shiny Vibrava. Gildarts, the male Joltik. Nikal, the female Shiny Axew(an egg). Karin, the female Shiny Litwik(an egg, but Luffy doesn't have her yet). Crush: None for now. Other: "...No" Says Luffy.
((Heheh, figured. Oh and I'm a bit of a shiny fanatic, sadly I only own several shiny Pokemon in my games. Only one of which, my shiny male Floatzel, did I actually catch. Recently got My Pokemon Ranch for the Wii. The Pokemon are sooo adorable in it.))

((Full- The actual ratio to catch shiny is 1-8192. Did extensive research on the matter when I went shiny hunting in my Platinum game. But hey, it's kinda like it really is a one in a million chance. Fixed Gildarts to be a normal male Joltik.)) |
