Mai dropped her school bag down on the floor walking into her boss' office, Kazuya Shibuya, or as she called him, Naru. "Hey Naru." She said plastering a smile on her face. Over all it had been a bad day, so she wasnt sure she could handle Naru's attitude at the moment. "Would you like some tea?" She asked folding her hands together behind her back.

Lin looked up as Mai burst through the door, throwing her bag to the floor. He picked up a pile of papers and followed Mai into Naru's office, placing them on the desk, walking by the highschool girl without a second glance.

Naru slapped his book shut and placed it on the table. "It seems my reading time is over," He said. He looked up at Mai. "You used up the rest of the tea yesterday. I expect you baught some more?" He asked. He picked up stood up and walked over to a cabinet. He pulle dout a certain file and walked into the other room.

Monk opened the door and walked inside. "Hey, Mai!" He gave her a big bear hug. "How's it been?" He released his grip and grinned. "Mai, go to the store and buy some tea," Snapped Naru from the other room. Monk shook his head. "How can you put up with that guy?" He sighed. "Monk, I called you here for a reason. Fill Mai up on the details." Naru hissed.

Monk rolled his eyes. "It seems your sist--" Naru opened the door and poked his head out. He made an angry face at Monk and closed the door. "Naru hired a someone to help us out," He said. Naru let out an annoyed sigh.

Mai looked between the two who had been scowling at each other. "What?! What's going on?" She asked looking between Naru and Monk. "Oh, new people? Cool. And by the way Naru, I do happen to have tea with me!" She pouted reaching into her back pack and pulling ou thte container. "Monk, would you like some tea. How about you Lin, do you want some tea?" She asked heading over to the counter.

"No." Came Lin's reply from his office, the clinking sound of typing starting up again. Mai jumped when the phone rang loudly, still couldnt get used to the sound. She walked over to the phone and quickly picked it up. "Shibuya Phsycic Research. This is Mai." She answered cheerfully.

"Oh hey Mai! I didnt know you'd be out of school yet." Came the voice from the other end. It had a thick australian accent that made my giggle. "Hey John! Ya well I kind of just got here, so what do you need?" She asked a real smile on her face. "I need you to tell Naru that I am going to be arriving later for the case. I have buisness with the church before I can come." Mai said good bye to John and went over  to Naru's office. "Hey Naru! John has to do something at the church so he will be late for the case. Oh ya, do you know anything about it Monk?" She asked beginning to make the tea.

"Then why aren't you making it?" Snapped Naru. He studied the files. "Akatsuki.....No last name? Must be an orphan." Naru muttered to himself. He placed down the file. "Mai, have you ever heard of a girl named 'Akatsuki'?" He asked. "Yepp, there's a new crew member thats going to join us on this new case." Monk replied, a grin plastered on his face.

Naru turned to Mai. "I espected as much," He said.

"Akatsuki? It sounds familiar but I dont know." Mai stopped for a minute turning around at Naru with an evil glare. "I am, cant you OOOOOW." Mai yelled, the hot water burning her skin. "Thanks, look at what you did Naru!" She turned the faucet on, sighing as the cool water spilled over her skin.

Lin looked up from his work when Mai yelled, sighing loudly. He reached into his desk, pulling out the first aid kit. He pulled out a couple of bandages, walking over to Mai and wrapping her hand in the cloth. "You should be more careful." He said turning away and sitting back in his chair.
