Name; Blake Hawke Age; Nineteen Gender; Male Powers; Blake is very mysterious in his power use. Sometimes it seems he doesn't have any, but he, in fact, uses them discreetly. First off is that he has X-ray vision. This also includes heat and night vision. For the heat, he just sees temperature fluctuations in the human body. Blake also has regeneration abilities. But the deeper and more serious the wound, the longer it takes to heal. Along that, he has claws made out of the most strongest metal around. In fact, his whole skeleton seems to be made of this stuff. It seems to be that way because of what happened in his past, which he is reluctant to share. Personality; TBA. He is sort of new. Appearance; Blake stands roughly six feet tall. His green eyes are flecked with gray and gold.

Avalia wandered into the coffee shop of the corner of 1st street and sat down, waving her hand for a barrista to come to her. A teenager with acne and braces wandered over to her, pulling out a pad to take her order. "One bacon Sandwich and a Chai." She stated in a british accent, not even bothering to glance at the menu in front of her. The male scampered off, seemingly afraid of the eighteen year old that entered the establishment. Unfazed, Avalia turned to stare out the window, not really noticing when her chai and sandwich arrived. When she did notice, Avalia picked up the steaming hot drink and lifted it to her mouth, not bothered by the heat eminating from it. The liquid poured down her throat and caused her to moan in ecstasy. It was delicious and if she was going to be in America for a while, she may as well get used to going to this coffee shop, if only to have their chai. She returned to staring out the window, never blinking, only staring...

Just as Avalia continued her staring out the window, a figure dressed in black moved passed said window and entered the cafe. The figured turned out to be a male who stood six foot off the ground. His long, dark brown locks fell in his green eyes. Flecks of gray and gold could be seen as he walked up to an empty table that was opposite the girl and sat down, placing a thick chapter book on the table top.
A female barrista came over and twirled a finger around her curly golden hair as she took his order. When he gave it -- an egg, bacon, and ham sandwich with a medium coffee (with cream and sugar). As she walked away, he glanced at her backside slightly before snorting softly as he opened up the chapter book -- which turned out to be the 2003 version of The Art of War -- to where he left off before. Which was about half-way through the pages.
When his order came, the female asked in an overly-sweet voice if he wanted anything else. Her words underlying a slightly different notion. He shook his head and she pouted as she padded off. Setting down his book, he took a sip of the coffee before digging into the sandwich.

"Can I help you?" Avalia turned her head to stare at the boy at the opposite table, tapping her fingers impatiently on the hard surface that was her table. She noticed his drink: coffee with sugar and cream. Shaking her head at the unhealthiness of the drink, and being a bit of hypocryte as a chai wasn't much better, she narrowed her eyes to read the ti tle of the book the boy was reading. "That's a good book." She commented, sipping the newly refilled chai the barrista had brought her. She didn't like people near her, even if it was a few tables away...

The male set his sandwich down. But it couldn't be called a sandwich anymore. It was more than half eaten with half its filling spilling out onto the plate beneath it. It looked more like breakfast mush. Oh well. Quickly wiping his lips with a napkin, he glanced at the person who spoke.
His green eyes blinked slightly, the center of his pupils sparking gray. And suddenly, he could see the temperature ranges people had in their bodies. As his eyes roamed over the girl, he could see that her core temperature was slightly lower than the average person. And he wondered why briefly before responding, "Yea it is. I've always been interested in how our warfare had been in the past if we actually listen to this. Vietnam might've been a victory instead of a defeat."
He blinked his eyes again, switching his vision back to normal as he picked up his coffee and swallowed a few mouthfuls.

"Ah yes, Vietnam could have been a victory." Her eyes turned icy for a moment as she remembered the fallen and then switched back. "So, are you in the army or something?" she asked, sipping some of her refilled chai. The chai fell through her throat and warmed her up before the feeling dissapeared, leaving her wanting more chai. She held up her empty mug and the barrista took it with a smirk. "What is up with Younger teens these days, its as if they have no brains." Avalia said with a slight shake of her head...

He cocked his head to one side and half-shrugged his shoulders. Pushing his plate away from him a little, he drank more of the coffee. Already, he could feel the buzz of the caffeine running through his body; his bloodstream. "It really depends on what my CO wants me do to," he answered after a few seconds. He had his dog tags under his shirt, hidden.

"Where do you work. If I may be so bold to inquire?" She asked, still finishing off the last few drops of her chai. As the rest of the drink slid down her throat, she called the waiter over to get her third cup of chai. The waiter looked disgusted, but did what she was told and got her another chai. Three chais was nothing. She had once had 7 chais in the course of one morning, yet she was still healthy because her body seperated the water and absorbed it and the rest just became energy...

He raised one hand and tapped the center of his forehead. "Can't tell 'cause I don't know. He comes to me. Sometimes in the most outrageous times," he said, his lips curving into a smile at one particular memory.
The older man had banged open the door to his appartment while he and his now ex-girlfriend were getting ready to use the night their way. They had got to the point where both their shirts were off... Though the idea was quickly shot down through a quick lecture by his CO.
Mutants don't interact romantically with non-mutant females.
But the smile soon vanished as he watched the barrista take away what remained of his sandwich before refilling his empty coffee mug. His eyes blinked. How did it get empty? Shrugging one shoulder, he stirred in a small packet of sugar and some cream before swallowing a mouthful. He winced as it burned his tongue.

"Too hot?" She asked, secretly cooling down his drink by looking at it and narrowing her eyes. She looked back at him. "Maybe it was just the shock of the first sip of a new cup, I bet it will be fine now." She said, trying to act casual and not at all guilty of having powers. "So, what do you do for a liveing." She asked, surprising herself. She didn't usually care, but she found herself attracted to this man...

At the female's inquire, he blinked his eyes, and instantly saw the temperature ranges. He cocked a brow and watched the colours of his drink change from a reddish to a cooler orange. A smirk curved his lips before he took another mouthful. His burned tongue already healed though. "Much better," he said. At her other question, he cocked his head. How could he put this without raising any suspicions. Technically he was a mercenary working for the US Army in a special division that wasn't supposed to exist.
"Uh," he said, scratching the back of his neck. "That would be classified." And it would be. If he told her, he might have to kill her. And it was against his Creed to kill women or children. At his next bl ink, the temperature ranges faded away until he could see normally again.
