In the year 2090, the Government set up a secret
organization known as W.A.S.P. This organization consisted of skilled
scientists with particular expertise in the field of genetic
manipulation, something surprisingly commonplace in the year 2090.
What W.A.S.P was set up to do can certainly be considered one of the
most horrific acts the world has ever known; it was set up to
genetically modify human test subjects with the DNA of various animals,
stripping away every ounce of their humanity until there's nothing left
of who they used to be...
The resulting empty husks of human-animal hybrids would have small
robotic parts implanted into their brains to allow the scientists
complete control of them. The purpose of all this? A means of finally
ending every war on the planet...with savage, blind violence dealt out
by W.A.S.P's creations.
But there has been a development. One test subject broke free and has
helped all the others escape with her. They are on the run from W.A.S.P,
who have received orders from the government to kill them and start
anew with the project. After all, these test subjects are far too much
trouble for their worth...
How long will these human-animal hybrids survive?
Okay, standard RP rules apply here (respect others, be as literate as
possible, etc). Romance and violence needed, please. Other than
that...just have fun! ^_^

Personality: Cora is a very mellow person. Contrary to
her panther DNA, she doesn't enjoy being alone. So much so that it is
almost like she fears it, although she tries her hardest not to make
that fear noticeable. She can often be found in a nearby tree, (if one
is accessible) possibly keeping a silent eye on who ever, or whatever
may be nearby. Cora is not a fan of conflict. If one arises, she will
most likely try her hardest to make sure it is resolved one way or
another. She enjoys humor, and may make a few "wisecracks" from
time to time, These are always meant to be harmless. She very rarely
goes into what is known as her "shutout mode." You can find out what
that is by reading the history below.
History: Cora had a fairly normal family. When she was 15, one of her close friends commited suicide via pills. (hope that is allowed on res.... if not, please tell me! xD) After
the death of her closest friend, Cora began to shut out reality.
Surprisingly, this ended up coming in handy. A few months after the
death, she was taken by the W.A.S.P. She would often shut herself out
reality while there, instead of witness the experiments done to
those around her that often failed. This resulted in a very broken
memory of her life when she was in W.A.S.P's grasp. At age 16, she had
the DNA of a black leopard successfully planted into her. How's that
for your sweet sixteen gift? Corra definetally wished it came with a
return policy. After almost two years, she was freed by some of the
other test subjects.
Abilities: Feline-ish fangs (think along the lines of vampire), ability to see long distances at night, scales trees with graceful ease.

History- was captured when she was sitting in a tree alone when she was shot with a tranquilizer dart then fell asleep, when she woke up she was strapped down to a table then injected with animal DNA then shortly fell asleep and then waking up in a room with the others.
Abilites- moves very fast, deadly bite, blends in with dark areas, can taste the air for predators or prey, can dislocate jaw bone to eat food and relocate it back in place, needs heat to survive like other snakes, extremely flexible

Personality: Reserved, not shy but not talky- He's kind, but harsh- Very protective over his friends and family... He's not happy with who he is, So he isn't bothered about getting hurt- he is fearless, and will happily give himself up as a shield for others.
History: Darius was born in Ireland, he is the eldest out of the children (two younger sisters), When he was five his mother was murdered and his father left him so he and his sisters lived with their grandma, on the outskirts of London- he was never accepted because of his accent and was always picked on because of his loss of parents. When he was 15 he was sent to jail for attempted murder and was taken from there straight to the W.A.S.P place, never seeing his family since.
Abilities: He can run extremely fast, his is very strong and has extremely long claws... He can jump high, really high.

Looks: Well I’m having trouble finding a picture, so I’ll do my best to describe him
for now, and potentially add one later.
He looks a bit like this, facially. His eyes change colors, and the two are
never the same. One is purple and the other is green, or blue, or pink, or any
other color. Sometimes it will be multicolored in just one eye. His hair is
similar. Although the base is black, it has an iridescent quality to it that
flickers and changes colors, especially in different lighting. Skin color is
pale gray generally. However, when reading his abilities, you’ll find something
quite interesting~ Body type, lean and muscular. He stands about six feet, two
inches. Long limbs, and long fingernails that are slightly pointed and also iridescent.
Personality: Artemis is an…interesting fellow. He
tends to be a bit more on the sarcastic side, and rather confident (some would
say arrogant). He maintains a very cool and calm composure, and isn’t always
the most talkative person. Perfectly fine on his own, Artemis can seem a little
antisocial at times, but others, he secretly enjoys being the center of
attention. The man is incredibly smart and clever, but can develop a bit of a
temper if pushed too far. And when that happens, all hell will break loose. He
is not easily intimidated; in fact, generally, he is the one doing the
intimidating. He has a very strong presence, even if he isn’t the biggest guy
around or mixed with a bear or something. Definitely an alpha male sort of
person. So if someone else decides they want to be a big hot-shot, he may have
a problem with it. Artemis also has this nasty habit of getting under peoples’
skin when he wants to.
History: To be perfectly honest, Artemis was kind of a
punk. He got intro trouble and picked fights, always being in detention while
growing up in school. Yet he managed to maintain the top of his class. So while
his parents were a bit distressed by his naughty behavior, they couldn’t be TOO
terribly mad at him (usually…there was one incident with the neighbor’s cat
that included spray paint and lots of balloons). Your average problem child. He
never really did anything TERRIBLE like…say, kill someone. But he did put a
couple kids in the hospital. Coming into adulthood, Artemis developed an
interest in biology and marine life, especially in the Mantis Shrimp. Some
organization called W.A.S.P. also took an interest in the species and asked him
to do research for them and submit his findings. They were thrilled! So
thrilled, in fact, he got a promotion and was brought right to the home
facility, where he learned FIRST HAND what they were doing with his research…
Okay, mantis shrimp are pretty amazing creatures (seriously, look them up!), so if you’re
gonna have your DNA spliced all to hell, it might as well be with something
cool, right? First of all, you know how humans can see in three colors (Red,
blue, green), and every other color branches off from those? Well Artemis,
thanks to his shrimpy powers, can see if about sixteen different tones…except
it isn’t just colors per se. He can literally SEE emotions, as well as scents. His
eyes are always changing colors to adjust to the changing atmosphere. Pretty cool
right?
Number two! His skin may appear to be very pale and gray, but
it is totally not the truth. It’s actually covered in hundreds of iridescent plates
that are almost indestructible. When activated, the plates become hard and rise
up like a semi-spiked armor, catching light waves and turning brilliant shades
of teal and red and pink and purple and green and every other color that’s
awesome.
Third on the list are his pincher things. You know how shrimp
and other crustaceans have those claws? Yeah. His arms go through a full
transformation (usually when he activates his plate armor) and become large
crushing devices of destruction~ When he strikes, it is so fast and forceful it
causes the air around the claw to heat up and sizzle, and a small sonic boom
can be heard. If it occurs in water, the water will literally boil. These claws
can crush bones and shatter glass and smash through walls.
Oh, and of course, he can handle himself pretty well in
water.

She's doesn't know affection and therefor is unsure how to act around others.History: Issy is from Italy, When she was 8 her parents abandoned her on the streets of Pandora (random made up town in Italy, why not) She managed to stay unnoticed until she was 13, living in a small wooded area on the outskirts of town, eating wild fruits and drinking from a stream. When W.A.S.P found her she could barely speak and was extremely skinny, they took her on and at first was happy too be in their company, until she had fully learned her words and had told them her story. but after a year they started doing things, things she didn't understand. they injected gluggy linquids into her and caged her up for days, making her starve. She started having weird dreams, and phases. phases where her skin and hair would change colours. From her natural Brown hair and eyes to red, blue, yellow, black- and others. She was scared and started attacking the people that would enter her cage, until finally they strapped her to a chair and tazerd her, torturing her into beinghave. it back fired, she turned lightening blue against the electric currents and tracked it back against them, until it set the leather binds that chained her to the chair flamed up and burned apart, the people went flying away and more came in, with big guns. Issy tried as hard as she could to escape, but they shot both her legs and she crumpled to the ground screaming. She was then shut it an inbreakable glass roomthing until she was finally broke. and just before she was about to give in, she was broken out by some other prisoners. (hope all thats okay^^) Abilities: Can take the colour of her surrounding like the animal, though her hair and eyes are now red when she is being herself. she is extremely flexible and can breathe underwater.Her fingers and feet have a really sticky feature that makes her stick to buildings, trees etc, so she can climb as high as she pleases. her skin is hard and very hard to penetrate.
