"then why doesen't it feel that way?" I heard him whisper, his tail resting gently across my shoulders, "It's like we are made to be together." A purr rumbled in his throat. I leaned into him, and I could feel the rumble of his purr. It made me feel complete, whole, and like I wasn't Medicine cat of StrikeClan. Made it seem like the only ones in the world were the two of us.

"But we cant be." I whispered softly, "It will hurt too badly when the clan finds out."

"IF the Clan finds out," he corrected, then in a softer tone he added, "I will let nobody hurt you Dreamsplash"
