Plot (Please Read This):

     Those myths about dragons and phoenixes, they were always true. The two species, known as pure imagination to humans, were just in hiding. Both, phoenix and dragon, thought it was better to not be seen or heard by the humans that stumbled across the land which they inhabited. A fear lurked deep inside them all that once their prescence was revealed to the humans, terrifying things would happen. There possibly could be an end to the creatures.

      What they feared the most happened. The humans' eyes were opened to the fact that mythical creatures inhabited this world. And due to their horror and disbelief at that, they destroyed countless forests and ended the lives of dragons who were taking shelter in mountains and caves. The world as the phoenixes and dragons knew it, was being torn apart and there was nothing they could possibly do about it.

     Now, the humans and the creatures are fighting an almost endless war over basically nothing. A war based on fear of the inevitable. There has to be hope, but where?

     There is hope and it is located in a small town near a large mountain that stretches almost to the light blue sky. This town has yet to be touched by the madness of the war and is where what is left of the dragons and phoenixes have moved to, trying to escape from the dark-hearted battling humans. Very few are left of the species. There are four phoenixes and two dragons that have survived. The only thing that have to keep faith is an old legend.

     In order to survive, the dragons and phoenixes must each become partners with a young human. The bond of friendship between creature and human contains power, power to end the war. But first the humans and the creatures must learn to wield it. And they have to be prepared for anything. Including any human soldiers coming into town.

     Is the legend true? Only you can find out.

Violence and romance allowed. Not too much romance.

Make your own bios.

Don't make plot twists early. Wait until we are more into the roleplay, then ask.

Lilana is quiet and paranoid of the rest of the world. She doesn't look at the fun in her life, only the dangers that could possibly happen no matter how big or small they are. Every day she wonders if that will the day when she breaks an arm or her neck. If she'll be bullied by the other kids. She doesn't know it, but her odd way of thinking about the world drew the attention of constant teasing and jeering. Ignoring them, Lila carries on, though the sneers of menace actually pierce into the poorly constructed shell of detatchment around her. Sometimes she wishes she could just disappear but it never happens. Lila feels like lashing back at her tormenters, yet she doesn't truely know how. Besides, she's too afraid to show the dark thoughts that actually wander in her mind.

History:

Lilana was abandoned by her parents the day she was born. She was not even supposed to be born, her birth being an accident. Lila was then placed within an orphanage. There her fear of the world around her developed. In the area around the orphanage, Lila was bitten by snake. Fortunately, it was not venomous, but she was frightened out of her skin by it. Soon, Lilana would barely go outside in fear of that one area and the rest of the place she eyed cautiously. Eventually, she was adopted by a rich family and ended up having two foster brothers, not that it improved her life. Lila was thrown into the shadow of the two brothers and was considered the unusual and untalented girl in the family. When sent to school, Lila became the ob
ject of teasing throughout her whole life and was forced to find a place for peace, where she could be alone and at rest. That place was the valley near the mountain, which Lila had found to be safe by her standards. It still is visited by her even now.
