Why do people like stories? A chance to escape reality? Maybe. To read about people over-coming nearly impossible feats? Perhaps. But the main part of the story is the conflict. Humans, being the twisted race they are, enjoy watching a hero struggle time and time again, falling down and standing up, only to be pushed back down again. Always having their plans foiled by an antagonist, an enemy.
But what if the story didnt have a conflict? What if Wendy's parents had made it to the window in time, stopping her and her brothers from flying to Neverland? I'll tell you what would have happened; nothing. They would have been reprimanded and sent to bed, to awake the next morning thinking the flying boy looking for his shadow was all a dream.
And the hero that tries and fails over and over and over? What if there was no dragon guarding the damsel? No fire or tail to dodge? He simply had to go into a cave to rescue the princess, who was actually lost, not stolen away.
Stories would be incredibly boring. We would see no purpose in reading them. So, why must we find amusement in the torture of the the poor people who are pushed off the cliff at the end of a long, daring, high-speed chase?

Okay. Bleh. Not my best work, but its the plot thingy. You can be a ceepy or a Hunter; Hunt/be the Suckers(Vampires), the werewulfen(Werewolf), zombies(Reanimated dead), whatever.
Rules
You can be fully human, a dhamphyre (Human, with even a little bit of sucker. They dont have any cravings for blood), a skin changer (A wulf, but not fully. Bitten while a virgin, so theres a 'closed door' XD. They can change at will, though usually only when angered, and dont have blood lust)
You can be other things not listed as well
No PP or GM
Listen to Tode and dont OOC fight

To join, post a freeform or create a bio. Include an intro with said bio. (Freeform is RPing your character out. I find it easier)

Ability: Ryu is a shapeshifter/esper, and has control over shapeshifting and is a clairvoyant. Her three animal forms are a Greater Kestrel, European Wolf and Leopard.
History/Persona: Ryu is very shy and doesn't want world domination, but her shapeshifting abilities are slightly warped and she is often taken over by the personality of the animal she currently is using. The Greater Kestrel is the calmest animal of the three and the one Ryu is most comfortable, while the Leopard is the most vicious. The European Wolf is mostly neutral because of the pack tendency and doesn't strike out much.
Appearance:
HUMAN: Ryu is quite short, even for a human and has tanned, golden skin that seems to glow in the sunlight. She has long, graceful limbs, and stands at only 5.3" tall. She has waist length silver hair and likes to wear black skinny jeans and a light blue tank top, or demin shorts with a violet pullover over a white short-sleeved blouse. Her eyes are a striking blue.
GREATER KESTREL: When in Kestrel form, Ryu looks like the typical Greater Kestrel, only much smaller and slimmer, also with strange silver feathers mixed into the ones on her neck and wings. She also has a demi form of this, where her wings are white with black, red and silver mixed in.
EUROPEAN WOLF: When a European Wolf, Ryu is a dark russet color with odd silver bands on her legs and silver hairs mixed into her ruff. Her size is very tiny and she looks almost emaciated in this form.
LEOPARD: Ryu's leopard form is the most conspicuous, being a bright silver leopard with dark blue, almost black, spots. Her size is smaller yet again than the typical leopard, but she possesses twice the strength.

Name: Ritsuka Scythe Age: 12 Species: Shinigami Vampire Spirit Looks: Ritsuka has sky blue hair with black tips. Thanks to his father (who was a panther demon) he has black cat ears and he has a sky blue tail with a black tip. He's about 4' 2" and is slender and pale, almost to the point of looking unhealthy. His clothes are simple: a black t-shirt under a large purple and black jacket and white jeans. He wears worn out blue tennis shoes and ocasionally a sky blue collar. In order to hide his tail and ears, he wears a red baseball cap with a popular sports-team's logo and he keeps his tail taped to his back with ducktape (The slight rise in his shirt is hidden by the jacket). He'll also wear sunglas-ses to hide his eyes. Eye Color: His right eye is crimson and his left is silver and the pupils are slitted like a cat's. Weapon: Ritsuka carries around an ancient cracked scythe. The scythe is larger than him and the blade is made of a indestructible metal that has a lightly bluish hue. The snaith is made of a gray wood that comes from the trees if the Forest of Spirits. It is unknown where the crack in the blade came from. When not in use, the scythe shrinks to the size of a charm to hang from his collar. Ritsuka can also use his fangs as a weapon. Abilities: Fast, Strong, and can jump very high. He can also use a variety of spells ranging from healing to manipulating objects around him. Other: Don't mess with the kitteh, he's got a temper >:D |
