Light and dark, they’re both same. People see us as evil but we don’t. We see them as evil but they’re not. Both sides are the same and we’ll always see each other as enemies. It’s normal to be afraid of something that’s different. You live alone or with others. You live in the forest or in the city, which ever one you prefer. You make friends, fall in love, the normal things in life. Or you’re an outcast and you like it that way. Some people know who you are and they watch or fear you. Maybe, if you’re lucky, you’ll be accepted into this strange world. Plot It’s kind of obvious what this story is about. If you can’t figure it out I’ll tell you. This story is about humans and the things that are know as “going bump in the night”. You can be anything from a plain old human to a troll if you want. Even cross breeds if that’s what you want. I prefer the more obvious bump in the night characters like vampires, werewolves, shape shifters, the like. But as I said you can be whatever you want. Just try to keep it close to the story if you can. This is taking place in a normal sized city in summer and this day and age. High school is over and summer is here. Some are trying to find a job or just hanging out spending your parents’ cash. Some may be in college already some can’t or don’t want to go yet or not at all. Rules - You’re characters have to be humanoid or at least be able to take on a human form in any way.
- All Res rules apply.
- Keep any romance or violence to a Pg-13 level. Any thing above must be through Rmail.
- Age limit for characters is 16 and up. So no charries under 16 years of age.
- If you’re character is 16 or 17 you have the choice of still being in school, got bumped up a grade or you dropped out of school.
- Please try to keep the rp alive. So bumps are appreciated after a long time has gone by and no one has posted.
- If you are going to kill another person character please ask them first.
- I really hate it when people join and put up their bios but they never post. So please don’t join if that’s what you’re going to do. Or you think might happen.
- Please only join if you are Semi-Literate or Literate. I really do hate having to struggle on finding out what people are saying. But no offense to anyone who does write like that. It just really confuses me.
- Any pets must be able to hide their true form. Still they can be anything.
- Keep powers reasonable.
- Hmm I don’t think there’s anything else. But if there is I’ll add it later.

Name: Forra Hawthorn Age: She appears 19 but she is now 23. Been a vampire for 4 years. Gender: Female Species: Vampire/Shapeshifter Powers: Power 1: The natural shapeshifter ability to change her form into different animals. Her kind though, is only able to turn into five different forms. She only has two forms so far and she has shown only one, which is a white fox, with cunning amber eyes. Power 2: Forra is empathic. This ability allows her to sense other peoples emotions, sometimes even expressing them. There are a few drawbacks to this ability of hers. Since she disscovered this power, when she was little, she had no control on turning it on and off. Turning on and off all the time, sometimes for very long periods of time. After she was turned by Triston, her power became stroger and a bit more stable. But now she can always sense Tristons' feelings, never being able to turn her ability off towards him. Her power also became more strong, but only towards Triston, being able to actually feel his emotions. Especially anger where her body heats up like she's sick, some times as if it were on fire, it even feels as if she is being hurt. Sometimes she is hurt, leaving a few bruises on her body and her body sore for a while. Power 3: She hasn't descovered her third power yet.(going to leave this for later)
Personality: Forra is kind of a loner but mostly because she only has one friend. She is a bit shy and has become very seclusive. She doesn't let many people know much about her. She's also very stubborn and tends to ignore you if you make her mad or upset. Can hold very long grudges. She's a tom-boy. She has a short temper. History: Forra had a normal life pretending to be a human even though she was a shapeshifter. She has only one friend and they are very close. She decided one day to tell her friend what she was. The friend laughed and said that they already knew cause her friend wasn't human as well, he was a vampire. One day her friend got hurt and lost a lot of blood and because of that he went into a blood lust. Accidently attacking Forra and nearly killing her. When he snapped out he was shocked and confused and not wanting to loose Forra changed her into a vampire to save her. Now she is both shapeshifter and vampire. Pretty much the same just now she needs to drink blood. Crush: None Pet: Forra has a female, black and purple baby feathered dragon. She's very small and won't grow very big either. About seven feet long once she's an adult. Right now she's about a foot and a half long. Her name is tle="Anaria">Anaria.(she looks like that dragon just imagine her a lot smaller and baby like. Kumori the Dragoness is actually one of the things I made on a flash game) She has small stuby wings and her horns have began to grow. Her eyes look like opals, the colors changing or shifting depending on her moods, with cat like irisis. Anaria appears to be a black lizard, with purple hues and a feather like pattern, to a normal humans eye. Many people who have touched her have said, "She"s odly soft for a lizard". Other: Her eyes are amber which change crimson when angry or hungry. Appearance: Forra stands at 5ft, 7in. She has snow white hair, that goes to her shoulders and sticks up at the ends. She has amber eyes. Forra is thin and has a slightly curvy figure. Her skin is darkly tanned. Forra usually wears a loose, dark green, T-shirt with a black vine like pattern on the left side. She wears either blue jeans, black cargo pants or white kaprees. --------------^_^-------------- Age: He appears 20 but he's actually a lot older. Gender: Male Species: Vampire Powers: Power 1: He can control shadows and darkness. Allowing him to dim or even make any light sorce appear to dissapear by covering them in dark or thick shadows. Power 2: He has Phychokenisis which allows him to move objects by only using his mind. He can only move objects withing a radious of fifteen feet around him. He can sometimes uncontrolably brake objects, within his radius, when he's mad or upset. The damage being from, little to nothing all way to completly destroyed, depending on how mad or upset he is. Power 3: Well he kind of got bored of trying to figure out what it is. He said "It'll show itself when I need it most, or when I least expect it." (Truthfully he has his third power but he's never shown anyone. Well atleast anyone who's still alive that is.)
Personality: He's a bit lazy and tends to sleep in later in the day even later than a vampire. He thinks him self as a ladies man and kind of is. Being able to attract most woman. History: Normal vampire life. With a few exceptions like meeting and becomeing close friends with a female shapeshifter, who surprisingly wasn't attracted to him. They became close friends and hung out together a lot. But never once did she show any crush like simptoms toward him. On one of the days they were hanging out he was severly injured and entered a blood lust state, attacking and feeding on his friend, nearly killing her in the process. When his blood lust cleared he found him self with a close to death friend in his arms, covered in blood. He knew the only thing to save her was to change so he did. They're still good friends but she still has a small grudge against him for changing her. Crush: None Pet: He has a male fox-wolf named Luffy. Luffy is a bit smaller than an average wolf but with many features of a fox. He has the muscular structure of a wolf, making him appear more wolf-like. For some odd reason he wears a straw hat. Luffy is black with orange tips on his tail, feet and ears. He has a very wicked grin. To a normal human he appears as an oddly colored husky. Other: His eyes are rusty brown which change crimson when he's angry, excited or hungry. Appearance:  (not my art) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Luffy Altier Age: Very old but he shows himself as 19. Gender: Male Species: Demon/Shifter Powers: Power 1: Shadows, except his is more awsome then Triston. Luffy can turn into a shadow, the only thing visible are his purple eyes. He's able to jump into objects or peoples shadows. When he's in a person or living things shadow, depending on it's will, he can control its body for a period of time. Some times he just hangs out in the shaodws and do nothing. Power 2: Luffy can control black fire. He's able to create it out of shadows or from his own power. The fire itself is dark and cold, yet burning hot at the same time(Have you ever heard of something that's so vcld its hot?). The fire goes out when Luffy comands it to, or he's knocked unconcious. Power 3: Luffys' final power is being able to change forms. He only has three forms though, which are, a human form, wolf form and his demon form.
Personality: Luffy is very secretive. Not wanting to tell anyone, anything about him. The only thing people know about him is that he hates Triston and wants to kill him. Oh and he is easily angered, lashing out at others if they tick him off, except Triston and Forra, he'd never hurt Forra. He also doesn't like day to much. History: ...hm ...hmm ...no. Only Triston knows about his past, Forra knows a couple things. Don't ask them, you will regret it. Crush: No one likes me... Pet: Never... Other: He doesn't really hate anyone even though he acts like it. Except Triston, he hates Triston. Appearance: Luffy has three different forms. Human, wolf and his natural demon form. Human Form: Luffy has messy, medium length male hair that is pitch black, the tips are orange. His eyes are two shades of purple, a brighter amethyst like color around the pupil that goes out to the darker shade, which is on the the edge of his iris. His pupils look human when he's in a good mood but if he's in a bad mood, they're slit like a cats. Luffy stands at 5'9', he slouches usually so he looks the same hight as Forra. He has a slightly darker shade of skin then Triston. He's thin and slightly muscular. He wears black dress shoes, white button-up shirt, a simple black vest and a pair of baggy black pants. He always wears a straw hat, which looks very out of place with his clothing. Wolf Form: Luffy is pitch black, except for the orange on the tips of his shadowy fur. He stands at 3'6' at the top of his head. He is seven feet in length, from noe to tail tip. His eyes are the same purple and the pupils are always slit like a cats. His fangs are normal wolf length, except for the two top-front canines, which are a tiny bit longer then normal, the tips show a little. His fur appears to be made of ink and acts shadowy in certain spots. Those spots are on the top of his head, in between the ears, and run down the back of his neck and half way down the back, all in the middle. The fur is also like this around the paws and the majority of his tail. The fur appears to be flowing and looks like tle="kids' clothing">Kids' clothing, with small amounts of orange flowing through it. Also for some odd reason he appears to resemble a fox. Demon Form: Luffy hasn't shown very many people his demon form. Currently the only person who knows what it looks like is Triston.(Trust me it looks really cool!)

[[Ok, done, thankies. ^_^]] Name-Moriganna Stone Age: 19 Gender:Female Species:Vampire Powers: Communicates with crows/ravens and can call them to her to do as she asks. Her most famed example of this is when there was once a huge war, and her brother had been killed by enemy troops. Moriganna called upon the crows, and the ravens, her eyes glowing red with vengeance. The crows gouged the eyes out of men whilst they were running away, and piered the skin of those who stood and fought.

Personality:Moriganna has a very dry sense of humour, and has often been described as 'warped'. She has a quick tongue, and is very witty and sarcastic. She tends to have an instant dislike of anyone she percieves to be 'snobby', and isn't exactly friendly to anyone else. If you do win her trust, you can be guaranteed she won't let anyone hurt you, no matter what. Crush:N/A Pet/'s: A deep blue raven, distinguishable from the usual birds by eyes that glow the same colour as Morigannas do, depending on her mood. Other: N/A Appearance: Silky black hair that reaches to below her knees, often either loose or in a plait. Wears low cut black tops and skinny denim jeans. Has eyes that are almond shaped, with varying colours. Pale skinned, and blood red lips. She wears a a simple leather string around her neck, with a single, long, raven feather tied into the middle.

Name: Avalia Orikani
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Species: Vampire/Shapshifter Powers: - Her first is being able to bring to life her drawings. Now, this may seem over powered, but it's not. For one, she cannot draw living things. This means that she can draw food like a cake, but not a rat. If she tries to bring that animal to life, it was deflate and sink back into the page, not responding to the magic. Same for plants. If she attempts to bring them to life, they will fade away and appear back on the page she drew it on. The upside to being able to do this: Being able to draw her own clothes and not having to look for them each day. She just draws them the night before.
- Her second power has a fairly obvious meaning. She can control the element of water to do her bidding. Now, this doesn't mean only water in its liquid state. This means ice and its gaseous state too. However, she can create ice by freezing water, but the water has to already be in gas form for her to use it because at the moment, she doesn't have the ability to heat it up.
- Her final power is shapeshifting. Into what? A few different things, but she doesn't know about the other two. Only one is availabe to her at the moment; the black and white tiger.
- She can shapeshift into a black and white tiger in both day and night. As a tiger, she has enhanced senses, even for a vampire, but only at Dusk and Dawn can she truely reach her full potential. She has an easier time of shifting at those times because it is a time of balance. In this form, she is Balanced.
- Her Second Animal is an Eagle with black eyes and a yellow beak. Her easiest time to shift is in the night. Unlike most Bald Eagles, her head is not completely white, instead it shows just a hint of blue, very strange for this type of bird. Her personality is colder in this form and she prefers to keep to herself instead of being super outgoing. In this form, she finds it hard to trust those around her. In this form, she is Yin.
- Her third form is a dolphin. In this form she finds it easier to shift in the day when the sun it at its peak. She is a pink hued dolphin with great blue eyes and a long snout filled with sharp teeth. Her fins are flimsy, but strong like the ocean; it looks calm, but underneath it is filled with strong secrets. Her personality is very different from the other animals, but morelike her campire form. She is very outgoing and hard-headed. A playful creature who likes to make friends is what most people describe dolphins as. Although, like most things, she is strong despite her carefree facade. In this form, she is Yang.
Personality: She is not one that you would think of as a vampire because of her personality. She is very outgoing and kind and not at all closed up emotionally. She loves to make new friends and help out others. However, she is very hard-headed and will often rush into situations without thinking of the consequences, which causes her to get into trouble. She is claustraphobic which means she has a strange fear of closed spaces and aracnaphobic which is the fear of spiders. This is a bit strange for a campire, but she has a reason, albiet not a very good one. She loves to hunt and fight, but only if she has a reason. She only feeds when she is hungry, unless she loses control which happens when she is out on a full moon. History: She was born on November 15, 1995, but this really has nothing to do with the interesting part of her history. The part where she is bitten by a vampire. She was bitten on a cold december night, a month after she turned 15. When she awoke, she didn't know where she was, but finally figured out she was somewhere out in the country; miles away from home. This being the case, she decided not to go see her family because she was too ashamed. She ended up making herself a small fort and living there. When she turned 16, she went back to her family, but didn't tell them where she went or what happened. They begged her to call the police and she did, but they found nothing wrong and warned her about running away again. She said she wouldn't and continued on her Junior year of highschool, despite skipping the second half of her Sophmore year. Crush: Open
Pets: - Her first pet is a small water dragon. She found its egg when she was playing around in a lake near her house. When it hatched, they bonded. To normal humans, it looks like a blue-grey cat with pointer claws than normal cats. In this illusion, her fur has a scaled pattern to it. The dragon's eyes glow a blue color, but they have silver fleck in them. It loves the water and can give Avalia some of her energy back if she is weakened.
- Her other pet is actually a cat. Of course, this is only because she found it has a stray who had run from its owner. He is a very feisty and headstrong cat who finds it hard to swallow his pride. He is grateful to Avalia for saving his life from a dog and will even go as far as laying his life down for her. He is a black color with green eyes and dark golden speckles in his fur. He has a scar on his cheek from a fight with a dog.

As the moon rose behind the trees, shedding soft rays of blue light around the forest, a small rabbit hopped into view, followed silently by a human girl. Or, what seemed to be a human girl. She had blonde hair and tan skin. Her silhoette was curvy and beautful. Her clothes waved lightly in the breeze, but then, she pounced on the rabbit and bit down with her sharp teeth. It struggled for only a moment before letting itself go limp. The girl, who was now obviously a vampire, stood and wiped dripping blood from her mouth. Her shirt was covered in blood, showing that she hadn't been a vampire long enough to know how to drink cleanly. Shaking herself off, she wandered away from the kill after burrying it in the hard earth. She trotted over to the water and pulled the long feathers out of her dirty blonde hair, before dipping herself into the small pond. It was cool and calm that night and the waters barely even got her skin wet because she was pushing it away with her palms. Her shirt, however, was slowly getting cleaner and cleaner by the second. Before long, there was no sign, except for a small blotch, that the blood had ever been there. The girl got out and blinked her bright red pupils as she watched another creature go by. She shook the thought of killing it, out of her head and tucked the feathers back behind her ears. She watched the creature for a moment more before fleeing from the area. The place she had been in smelled like humans and that was bad, it meant that if she lost control, someone could really get hurt. She waited a while, hours possibly and watched as the sun came up. She put on her sunglass and wandered out of the woods to go to school. Nobody saw it, but a thin sheet of shimmering water surrounded her, protecting her from the blistering heat of the sun's rays...
