This is the story of kids and teens who are pretty normal in most ways-- except that they're 98 percent human, 2 percent bird. They grew up in a lab, living like rats in cages, but now they're free. Aside, of course, from the fact thay they're prime prey for Erasers- wicked, wolflike creatures with a taste for flying humans.

*Based on the Maximum Ride novels, which I have NOT finniahed, but absolutely love. Please no spoilers here! You don't have to have read to books to join, but I highly recomend reading it in your own time!

Living alone in the Rocky Mountians is a group of children and teens. They were created and lived in a lab called the "School" for most of their lives, but rebelled and began to escape. They have hollow, fragile bones, large lungs, and a hyper- active hearts. Though these kids must eat alot, they can fly with their large wingspans that spread from the backs of their shoulders. Of course, when they need to, they can simply ferl their wings as tight as they can and slide a jacket over them. If might feel a little funky, but hey, it keeps the humans oblivious. Now there's just the Erasers to worry about. They only live for a few years, as they mature quickly, but when they receive their orders from the School, there's no stoping them or getting in their way. These beings seem human at first, but within seconds, they can morph their muzzles and bodies into large- scale wolfmen with large fanges with a taste for the escapies. You'd think survival would be simple, but not for these kids.

9- Semi-litterate! This means at least one nice paragraph. If you have a writer's block or having trouble, just say so please.
10- Pics are fine, but don't stretch the page. I'll be VERY strict about this.
11- Have fun. I don't want you to be here if your characters just going to rant because you have you underwear in a bunch. Roleplaying should be fun for every player, which is why they exist, no?
12- Age limmit is six to 27
13- No more mutant animal things. We've got two one, but it's called the Angel Expiriment for a reason.
14- If there are any new characters, please don't give them more powers, like elements. We've got engough of those, too. Thank you.

Name: Zatchine ("Zatch")
Aproxamate Age: 17
Personality: Zatch is very tall and thin- framed. He's lean and fast, and he relies on these skills to keep him out of trouble. He is soft for young women and tends to be almost as kind to them as he his to young children. This is his ultimate weakness- kids. He'll steal some candy hust to stay alive and hand it off willingly to a p*censored*ing, smilling child and go hungry for weeks. A true smile is the only thanks he ever needs, even if he'll never admit it. His biggest character flaw- his natural defence. He has a tight wall around him, broken down only by the kindest of hearts. Zatch also loves to climb. Trees, skyscrapers, desks, you name it and he's probably climbed it abd will do it again. He loves to feel fresh air on his face and spends all the time he can with birds in the highest of trees. His biggest dream? What else- to fly totally free. He never talks about it, another one of the things he'll never admit to anybody. His silvery hair kept in rough, silky strands almost hitting his shoulders, his bangs nearly covering his large, blue- green eyes. There's another thing- he's color blind in the left eye, but sees perfectly well in the right. This can cause some major confusion sometimes.

Name: Zilla Maru
Aproximate Age: 14
Peronality: Zilla, similar to her brother, is rathe carless about most of the world and its situations. A regular, human kid has to worry about getting their math homework done, but she has to worry about creepy wolf-men ripping her flesh apart. Then again, she would worry about math problems, too. She's never been a good problem solver in anything. Even durring her escapement from the School, she was easily destracted and had trouble focusing on the situation at hand. That was atleast, untill she relized that there was hope for the flock. In a quick heart-beat, she had become more determined than ever to make it out alive and, well, she did. When she has time to herself, she dreams about the ocean and sailing its waters, about diving deep below and look at the fish. She loves aquatic life, and finds it fastinating, however, she wakes up one morning and decides that she doesn't like you, she'll never will. She'll chalenge you to a fight and not let you live it down, even if she forgets every few hours. Some might call this bipolar or multiple personalities disorder, but those who know her just call her "Zilla," and would have it no other way.

Strengths (2): Flying quickly, long-range attacks
Weaknesses (2): Close combat, HAS to help animals, easily swayed
Appearance: Except she has black hair, bird wings and wears more casual clothes
Crush: Could she crush on Zatchine, or vice versa?

Personality: An innocent child, who's playful and loud when the older members of the flock say it's safe. Like most children she's a bit too trusting.

Appearance: Small girl with dark brown hair and brown eyes. Her wings are pitch black

Other: Had a real brother but doesn't know what happened to him. Considers Hayato her big brother.

Personality: He's a bit of a loner, and at first didn't like the fact that Toby kept following him. Recently he's gotten used to the idea and even feels the need to protect her.
Strengths (2): Faster diver, Close combat
Weaknesses (2): A bit of a short temper, Does things his way
Appearance: Tall and slim with mottled falcon like wings. His dark hair is moderately long, often falling in his face and hiding his icy blue eyes. Seems to be of Asian descent.
Crush: Zilla perhaps
Other: Toby's gaurdian and "older brother" for the time being.

Personality: Rp it out? I never know how my characters will act until I play them, they change every single time.

Strengths (2): Alyx is a theif. He can pick locks and sneak about quite effciently.

Weaknesses (2):Alyx is self-abusive, and doesn't trust anyone unless they have proved themselves to him.

Personality: Protective of her little sister. She's a master at making weapons, and at using them. she's a stubborn person. She's claustraphobic, and loves freedom. She's sarcastic and easy to get along with, though.
Strengths (2): She can change her appearance. She's able to make any item into a weapon.
Weaknesses (2): She's too stubborn for her own good. She's independent and doesn't ask for help very easily, even when she NEEDS help. She usually acts before she thinks.

Zatchine was amoung the oldest memers of the flock. At, least, he thought he was. The School's tourture seemed to blur things together- memories, ages, faces, years... It was impossible for Zatch to remember exactly how long he'd been there before the escape, besides the fact that it was all remembered. And now the Erasers were after them. He sighed, watching the sunrise,

Zatch fluttered his wings a little, glad to be out of cages. Thier escape was nearly two months ago, and still he was amazed of two things:The first how actually how wide his wingspan was. He'd never really noticed when he was cramped in a small, steal and iorn cage, detached from the rest of the world. The seccons thing was that the Erasers hadn't caught them yet. Somehow the flock had found an abandoned house on the mountian side. It was old and creeky, not to mention filled with dust and spiders. Zatchine knew they couldn't stay here long, but for the time being, it was a nice escape.

Zilla was one of those who loved the house. Upon their arrival, she began to cleen out cobwebs  and stop on the sipders that inhabited them. She seemed oblivious to Zatch's gowing consern and was surprised to find her brother up so early, over looking the rest of the mountian from the wall on the south side that was almost completely gl*censored*. Zatch turned to her, expectant.

"Erm," the younger stammered, shuffling her crimson, almost brown wings that seemed a little too small for her. "I'm going to stretch my wings before the sun's totally up, okay?"

Zilla, dispite her age, was quite immature. Quick to accuse, quite ill-litterate, and not, well, the brightest. Zatch sighed, once again having trying to make up for his sister with his own wits. He turned back to the window and looked out it, scanning the terrain for anything. Erasers, movement, humans... "No, Zilla. Take at least one other with you. None of us are going back to the School. Ever."

The red- haired girl pouted, crossing her arms over her chest. Zatch ignored her. He was anxious to move north, but refused to do so without the others. Though Zilla was probably his biggest worry, he was deeply conserned about the others, too. What if the School knew where they where? No, he pushed that idea from his mind. The Erasers couldn't catch them, they were too fast. California and the School were far behind them now, even if that didn't mean complete safety.

When Zatch said nothing more in responce, he turned so quickly that her hair swished in a wide arch, as if struggling to follow her quick movements. As she began to walk into the building's main room, she raised her hands to flick her hair behind her shoulders, between her wings. She knew Zatch struggled to be serious even know, that he really wanted to soar and to loop-de-loops over a city populated with humans or, better yet, above the school. No, he was just being conserned to p*censored* the time and unfortunately, Zilla was more right than wrong.

"And he calls me 'immature,'" She murmered, wondering who would fly with her this early in the morning. She yawned and stretched her arms over, then behind her head., It was, along with most of her odd habits, something her brother had taught her and she did it often. She then wondered before decided that yes, if she convinced a good portion of the flock, two or three others, maybe, then Zatchine would probably come, too.
