{{Introduction}} 

The world ended in a spiral of blood and snow. I ran from house to house, seeking protection. With every door I knocked on, came the flashing of fangs and the spilling of blood. I finally got tired of just seeking for protection, so I just gave up. I would let them take me, take me away. I sank down in the snow, my head in my hands. I wasn't quite crying, but I needed to let it go. I felt a hand on my back. I started bawling. Someone said in a soft voice to me, "Hush, it'll be okay. I'll protect you." He put his hand on my head. "I'm not bad like them." I felt someone's arms envelope me, then lift me off of the ground.

I could hear the screams of the vampires' victims, but it wasn't as bad when I was being carried. A m*censored*ive feeling of relief came over me. They weren't all bad, but they were dangerous, more dangerous than I could imagine.

There were others too, they would shift back and forth from wolves to humans. It was very confusing. Especially in a world filled with snow. I kept my eyes covered with my hands, afraid of what I would see if I removed them. Tears streamed down my cheeks, falling silently onto the snow.

I heard the creaking of an open door, then I heard it shut behind us. I was shaking with cold, but I somehow felt warm. "It's okay everyone. I found a survivor," I heard my rescuer say. Wait? Everyone? I removed my hands from my face so that I could see. The room that I was in was filled with the human/wolf shifters, and some vampires. They looked fairly innocent, but I couldn't get over the fact that I was the only human in the room.

I let out a scream when I saw one smile at me, the smile that I saw was anything but comforting. He had fangs, large ones, that gleamed when the light hit them. I was terrified, yet amazed. My rescuer put his hand on my back again. My heart slowed to a normal pace. I couldn't figure out why he had a calming effect on me, but I didn't care. All I cared about is that I was alive, not necessarily normal, but I was alive.

{{Plot}}

The apocalypse has come, but it isn't exactly like it was expected to be. Vampires and Werewolves invaded the cities, killing many of the humans. Only a handful of humans are left. There is an organization called the Rescuers that help the humans. The Rescuers are formed entirely of Vampires and Werewolves. They rescue the humans in hopes that they might possibly stop the apocalypse.

Vampires:

Very attractive beings that live off of blood. It doesn't matter what kind of blood it is, but they desire human blood. When they go into the sun, they don't sparkle, they are just slightly weaker and more vulnerable. They can change a human by biting them.

Werewolves:

Attractive beings that change into wolves at will. That's about it.

Humans:

You should know what humans are.

Personality: Hikari is stubborn and hardworking, and sometimes does not like acknowledging the fact that she's been defeated. Hikari sometimes overdoes things, an can't exactly apologize properly. Because of this, and her many attempts to prove to people that she's strong, Hikari is labelled as a very 'easily distracted trouble-maker'. Despite her competitiveness, Hikari is very sweet. She's borderline innocent, in fact :c This causes her to be extremely gullible, and naive. In short, she's a hardy tomboy-ish girl who can be sweet.
