I was twelve when the infection hit me. I was walking home with a group of my best friends when, from the door of an dark shop, a hand grabbed my shoulder and pulled me away from the group. My scream alerted my friends who quickly scurried home. The hand belonged to a boy, not to much older to me. He covered my mouth with his cold hand and pulled me back into the shadows. For a few minutes, the only sound was my breathing. Then, the stranger released his breath and flicked on the lights. In the white light of a newly replaced bulb, I took in his features. Long, shaggy blonde hair, silver eyes, pale skin, tattered clothing. He smiled kindly at me. THe first thing I noticed about his smile was that he bore a set of fangs, long, pointed fangs, already dripping with black blood and purple poison. He lowered his head to my neck and brushed his lips across my skin, tearing into my flesh with his fangs. My screams rang out yet again. Then, all went black.

Plot~Blood and her creator must stop the infection from making evil vampires while along the way they fight their love for each other.

{{Well, I was gonna go for Rose on my character but figured since I always used Rose as my characters, I'd change it up a bit and use Blood. Eh, call me what ever you like. I'm not picky when it comes to names. Just as long as no one calls me Morgan. -.- I hate my real name. We are starting where the paragraph stops.}}

As the venom pulsed through my viens, the edges of my vision turned black. The darkness covered my vision and my mind. The only thing it did not cover, was the pain. The sheer pain of the change, the pain of death and life, the pain of not knowing what I was becoming. Although the pain made my viens numb, my body stilled as in death. I waited, no control over any thing, as the venom seared through me, changing me as it went. Finally, after what felt like several life times, I was able to open my eyes and take in everything. My vision had changed. Gotten sharper. The sharpest colors were those of silver and grey. Even in the oncoming darkness of another night, I could see as if in day light.

(( Ok, that works for me. I don't like present tense at all. It's just annoying >_< ))

"About time you woke up," Code said, looking over his newest creation. He sat a few feet away, leaning against the wall. One leg was stretched out and the other was pulled up to his chest. His arm rested on his knee and a GameBoy was gripped loosely in his hand. His head was tilted to the side slightly and his silver eyes glittered dully, giving him a lazy look. He wasn't sure how long the girl had been out, but it had been long enough to bore him into pulling out his old game system. He smiled at her again, but all traces blood and poison had been wiped from his lips unlike the first time. Now all that was left was the unusually white, long fangs. The same ones that had tore through her flesh earlier. "How are you feeling?" he questioned. His voice was soft and gentile but the way he talked suggested he was a confident individual.

Blood struggled to sit up. Glancing around, she ran a hand through her hair. "Where am I and who are you?" She asked the boy. The last thing she rembered was she was on her way home when she had been pulled into the shop. Glancing at her watch, she noticed it had been two days since she had been...kidnapped. "I'm not sure how I feel. Sort of dizzy and confused." She said, grimacing as she bit into her lip with her own fangs.  "What the hell happened to me?"

Code 'tisk'ed, wagging a finger at her. "How typical. Always asking questions, expecting answers for nothing in return." he gave a sigh of disappointed. "I suppose I could play you're game just this once. "In order, this," he said, spreading his arms, "is a bookstore. The owner disappeared a month ago and now I'm in possession of it. You don't need to know my real name but most call me Code nowadays. And you have been turned into a creature of the night by your's truly. No thanks needed." He smirked. "Dizziness and confusion are to be expected, it's not every day a person dies but continues to live." Having answered all her questions, he returned his attention back to his game. However it had shut down due to running out of battery life. "Aww, and I was on the last boss, too!"

Blood chortled. "Geek." She mumbled under her breath, standing up. Placeing a hand on the wall to get her balance, she rolled her neck to both sides, cracking and loosening her tense joints. "Well, where are the books?" She asked, glancing around at the empty shelves and spider webby cash register. Sighing, she looked longingly at the door. "So, I'm guessing I can't go home, correct?" She asked, sitting back down, a bit closer to Code. "What to do, what to do." She sighed.

Code pointed at a lone book on a shelf near the back, looking rather proud of himself and giving her a look like he couldn't believe she hadn't noticed. It was an old book with leather binding. It was beat up and had several tears in it's cover but the elegant gold ti
tle still shone untouched. Vampires. "Nope, sorry, no leaving." he said, chucking the dead GameBoy onto one of the shelves. It landed with a clatter. He leaned back against the wall and rested his hands behind his head. "You could always help me hunt for more batteries in the basement if you're bored," he offered. "I know I haven't found all the boxes." He yawned, showing off his fangs. He hadn't slept for the past two days since he hadn't wanted the girl to wake up and scurry off while he was still asleep.

{{Oh, forgot to mention that they can have powers just nothing to...severe. Blood can do alot of things with the mood and the mind. She can red thoughts, see a mist that surrounds everything that changes color due to moods, she can suggest a thought just by thinking of it and reading a mind at the same time. The vampires still have super speed (called flitting) but their strength is limited. The sun doesn't bun them but gives them m*censored*ive head aches, holy water and running water don't melt them or hinder their steps, all vampires can control wolves as they have bonded, way back in time.}}

"How about you go to sleep and I search for batteries." Blood said, standing and flitting over to the GameBoy and picking it up. Snorting, she shook her head and approched the almost hidden stair case that led down into the basement. As she entered, she gazed around at all the boxes, most of which were open with their contents all over the floor. So he's a geek and he's messy. She laughed in her head.
