Independent from all of the other regions of the Pokemon universe are the Violet Islands, a chain of three islands off the coast of Kanto. They say that they are owned by a one person- an elusive millionare said to reside on the third and smallest island. No one has heard from him - or her - in years. The islands are home to many of the pokemon confiscated from unfit trainers in all the regions. The terrain of the islands ranges from beach to marshland to mountains, with a network of rivers crisscrossing across. Their hope was to provide the pokemon with safe areas to recover from their abuse and adapt. Yet a new program encourages new trainers to instead catch their new pokemon on the islands. After all, the reasoning went, the trainer will be able to help heal the pokemon, and the stronger and more experienced pokemon will aid the trainer. The only problem is that the pokemon do not want to be caught. They have seen the worst of humanity- why go through that pain again? They are free on the islands. They laugh at the pokemon that travel with humans; after all, the pokemon are much stronger. If they were to turn their power upon their master, they could escape, yet they are too foolish to do so. Recently, there seem to be more and more humans on the islands. Perhaps some of them believe the rumors- that the name of the islands stems not from the peculiar violet color the water seems to take on just before sunset, but for a grove of flowers that grows on the center of the third island. Here, they say, sleeps a mew, an odd blue mew that has much more power than it's pink sister... But then again, some are simply searching for the missing owner of the islands. Ill/Abused?: Abused. She was the Pokémon of a show-owner, who would beat her with various items if Quasar failed to win or impress the judges. Injuries: She has a faint and long pink line that follows her stream-line body, a scar from when her trainer had whipped her. Odd behavior: Because of her trainer, she is shy around trainers, and sometimes agressive if they come too close, or wave objects that she fears, such as umbrellas, anything that could hurt her. Quirks: Well. None.
Relationship to others: Nope. Appearance: 
Personality: Explained in the behavior. Sweet and rather gentle around Pokémon. Attacks: Water Pulse, Dragon Breath, Ice Beam, Twister

Reason for Coming: She's quite interested in observing the behavior of the ill/abused Pokémon, and wonders if she could bond or capture any of them. Appearance: 
Personality: Bold and inquisitive, who likes to ask questions and play pranks. History: Arsenic was her first Pokémon, so naturally he is the strongest. Maya recently has spent her time training Styx, and has not been battling with other trainers. No sob story. Her parents are healthy and alive. Other: None.

Pokemon Profile Name: Dusk Species: Dragonair
Gender: Female
Ill/Abused?: Abused in the worst way- She started out as every scientists dream pokemon. Dusk was put with a boy who wanted to become a scientist. When he became an adult, she expirimented on her, causing her to have all sorts of problems. He forced Tm's upon her ven thoguh she couldn't learn them. The result was a Dragonair that some very intersting attacks One day, she escaped from her stronghold and left the boy. Someone took her to the island and she has been there ever since. Injuries: Whenever she uses a move that she can't learn naturaly, her bead on her neck starts to dulland if she does this four times, then she dies if she is not taken to a pokemoncenter withing 5 minutes of this. This can be prolonged with a hyperpotion.
Odd behavior: Hates people in white coats
Quirks: The bead around her neck glows when she is healthy andis dull when she is dying.
Relationship to others: She had a child, but she was killed in a freak accident.
Appearance: She looks like a regulardragonair with a glowing bead.

Ill/Abused?: Abuse- Always made to battle when she was hurt or sick. This resulted in some traumatic expieriences with her master's seviper. Injuries: She cannot see out of one eye, due to the fact that a seviper bit threw it, making it close forever. Odd behavior: Very shy and agressive if you come towards her.
Quirks: Instead of a ring on her head, there is a star.
Relationship to others: There was an Espeon named Psy, but he dissapeared soon after she got mkicked out.
Appearance: She looks like a regular shiny umbreon except with all the above things.

Pokemon Profile Name: Seri Species: Umbreon Gender: female Ill/Abused?: abused, mwahaha. You'll see Injuries: Scars line her underbelly, but it is not visible anywhere else, even though they are there Odd behavior: Extremely aggressive, with a quick temper. Quirks: Instead of red eyes, she has a dark emerald green that will send shudders through anyone who gazes upon them. On her left shoulder blade, she has a dark green 'x' mark that will glow with the other rings on her body, it seems to shine. Instead of golden rings, she has dark green to match her eyes Relationship to others: Best friends with Moug and Ryi. Appearance: She is somewhat smaller then your typical umbreon. Her pelt seems darker then black itself, and her standard golden rings glow fainter then usual. Of course, her dark green eyes and the strange 'x' mark on her shoulder blade. Personality: Is cold hearted and harsh. She shows no fear and never backs down without a fight. She shows no mercy when threatened and has a high aggression level and quick temper. Those who know her, know she is not one to me messed with. She is fast and agile, using this to her advantage. Instead he uses power and strategic qualities to lead his challengers to their downfall. He can be dangerous when wanting to, and usually refuses to take 'no' as an anwser. Name: Gerald Lemontree Age: 14 Gender: Male New or Experienced?: Experienced… sorta. Current pokemon (if any): Bounce (Spheal): Bounce is Gerald’s first pokemon, and is exceedingly good-natured and friendly, no matter how many times he loses. Unfortunately, this means that the only thing he does during battle is roll around on the ground and bl
ink. Despite numerous attempts to abandon him, he always manages to find Gerald. Flue (Drifloon): Technically Gerald’s most powerful pokemon, Flue still has very little use in battle as he prefers to cower behind his master and whimper. If he is persuaded to battle, he can do so fairly capably, through only against non-intimidating opponents. Though he can communicate through telepathy, he doesn’t understand how humans process things, and so communicates in large blocks of feelings, pictures and ideas instead of words. The Egg: The Egg is smooth, yellow and about the size of your hand. No one really knows what will hatch from it, or if it will hatch, Gerald just carries it for good luck. Reason for coming: Mandatory volunteer work Appearance: Gerald is rather nonde, about average height and weight, mildly tan and rather freckly. The most interesting things about him are his nose and his hair, mostly because his nose is the only thing visible from the green, unmistakably dyed mop of hair that covers most of his face. As compared to the rest of the pink-spike haired Pokémon universe, dyed green hair isn’t very remarkable (as any ace trainer would tell you), but it does flop around quite impressively. Personality: Despite claiming that he doesn’t care what anyone says, he is very sensitive to other’s opinions and is determined to make people like/worship him. Unfortunately, he is easily frustrated and isn’t able to conceal it very well, and a poor liar. History: Gerald was raised in a rather old fashioned fishing village, and so had to wait until he was thirteen to get a pokemon. Unfortunately, the local research institute had only a few bottom-of-the-barrel specimens, and so they handed him a spheal and sent him away. After losing a few battles and being chased by spearows, he bought a cheap drifloon off a woman with a missing eye, who didn’t seem to want to battle either. By this time, Gerald money was running low, and rather than face the indignity of going home and begging for money, he turned to pickpocketing. It didn’t turn out as well as he’d planned, and so he was shipped off the Violet islands to “do volunteer work”. He’s effectively stuck there for the next three months. Other: Nay. ---------- Name: Porygon (No nickname) Species: Porygon Gender: None. Porygons are genderless. But others refer to him as "he". Ill/Abused?: Ill, sorta. He was created to protect a hidden illegal laboratory from both computer spy viruses and physical intruders, but the lab was discovered, and once they found that they couldn't de-program his aggression, he was sent to the islands to recover. Injuries: None. He's nice and shiny. Odd behavior: He behaves very erratically, and is very aggressive to humans, and, oddly, electric pokemon. Quirks: None. Relationship to others: Nope. He's an isolated incident. Appearance: Porygon is built in the traditional style; two feet tall and blocky. Personality: Porygon is an odd one, and is sometimes difficult to understand. Though he is programmed to speak with a calm, slightly british accent, he sometimes reverts to a monotone computer-like tone and spouts long strings of numbers. He also for some reason feels the need to narrate what he does in the same monotone. Porygon is rather self-centered, and his ideal solution to anything is to "delete" it. Attacks: Conversion, Conversion 2, Psybeam, Sharpen

Name: Miiku Species: Arcanine Gender: Female Ill/Abused?: She was badly abused by her old owner, who would hurt her if she did bad in battle and hardly ever feed her. She has a long scar on her back from his abusing. Injuries: A long scar on her bad from her previous owner. Odd behavior: Very aggressive towards other pokemon and trainers, thinking she can trust nobody. Quirks: She has one green eye on the right side of her face and one blue eye on the left side of her face. Relationship to others: Nope. Appearance: An Arcanine with a long scar on her back. Personality: Very anti-social, it'd be hard to be her friend. She thinks she can't trust anybody due to her old owner. She might attack if you get too close to her. She usually lives alone.
