[ Plot ]
During one particularly harsh winter, two Clans, LeafClan and ReedClan, perished from the severe cold and an unnaturally extreme shortage of food. Lacking enough members to maintain an efficient Clan, both Clans decided to accept strays or loners into their midsts, giving them warrior/apprentice names and other such roles within the Clan. It also supplied the cats with new blood for future kit-bearing. Problems caused by a low population of cats were fewer hunting parties, fewer patrols for the borders, weaker protection against predators, et cetera. The wisest cats are chosen as governors, who specialise in overseeing the activity of the newcomers to educate them in the ways of the Clan-cat and set them right if they go against the warrior code.
[ Setting ]
Towards the south lies a large and rather dense forest. The prey is abundant here, and LeafClan makes their camp in the heart of this lush forest. Their camp is surrounded by protective brambles, and their make-shift dens are crafted from the vines to form small, dome-like dwellings. The cats mainly hunt mice, voles, rabbits and the occasional fish from the river that runs westward of the camp. As the river runs, it eventually meets up with a larger body of water in the western region. ReedClan's camp is established near the lake on the grassy plains. These cats enjoy swimming and love eating fish, though they also eat mice and voles. Dominating the northern and eastern region is the Twolegplace, where kittypets, loners and rogues mainly live. A long wooden fence cuts off the Twolegplace, though a healthy cat can easily scale this fence.
[ Rules ]
- If you make two girls, make a guy. Make three girls, make two guys. Same rule applies vice versa.
- Also, try to spread your cats out amongst the non-Clans, LeafClan, and ReedClan. Do not cluster all of your characters in one Clan.
- Maximum of TWO important positions per person. (though just 1 is preferred) The cats must be from opposite Clans.
- This is a semi-literate/literate RP.
- If you participated in the brainstorming session, don't ask to join, post your bios. If you didn't, ask to join.
- Violence and romance are encouraged, and you must include your love of potatoes to join.
- Do NOT make your characters crush on each other.
- Respect everyone on this board, including me.
- Please be ACTIVE, I have the right to rMail you if you're not.
- Please use CLAN phrases. Cats do not swear, they say 'fox-dung'. Cats do not know what winter is, they only know 'leaf-bare'.
- You may not join as a kit/elder.
- Please also make your character names make sense. I have the right to ask you to change you cat's name if I don't think it makes sense.

Personality: Patient, but somewhat detached. Thoughtful, very taciturn, but watchful and kind – sort of a silent guardian. He normally only speaks when spoken to, yet is more inclined to talk to apprentices than warriors (mainly to correct them of mistakes or to give them words of advice). Swanfur is the one who volunteers to scout ahead – he would not mind endangering himself for the safety of the Clan. Rank: Deputy Crush: none Other: His personality might seem inappropriate for a deputy, but he is gradually learning to be more open with the rest of the Clan.

Spidermask prefers the experienced nature of adult cats, still adapting to being surrounded by younger generations. Despite this, she is quite close-minded, and fears the unknown slightly - particularly the new cats in the Clan, of whom she is quite mistrustful of. She prefers peace and quiet, appreciating the privacy and harmony of her den, and does not feel ready for an apprentice yet - since the relatively recent death of her mentor, she feels somewhat vulnerable and doubtful. She's quite curious about the outside world, though contrary to her obsession with the outdoors, Ebony hates being dirty and is quite lazy. She's quite cheeky and stubborn, always listening to herself and her instincts instead of her elders. Ebony isn't the best playmate, since she was isolated from other kits as soon as she was 4 months. Because of this, Ebony grows quite lonely and becomes extremely hyperactively happy whenever she sees another cat. Rank: Kittypet Crush: None. His physique is rather lanky instead of bulky, streamlined instead of boxy. His fur is short and well-groomed, since he has his housefolk to take care of him. Skywalker has a jet-black pelt, though ginger tabby-like markings zig-zag around his legs and face, giving it the appearance of a faint fire. His eyes are a dark shade of amber. Personality: Skywalker is adventurous for a kittypet, often escaping over the fence to play-hunt with the more unsuspecting prey. He has never stumbled across a Clan cat, but has caught a few whiffs of the wild cats before during his expeditions. Skywalker is hard-working and quite ambitious, unhappy with his kittypet life because he feels like it 'restrains' him. He's often scolded by his housefolk for his frequent bursts of energy. Skywalker isn't a very social cat, however. He's quite quiet around the other kittypets, not partaking in their gossip sessions and playing with the other cats. He's also quick to judge, blatantly refusing to listen to those who have not earned his respect, which is quite hard to gain. Skywalker is not afraid to speak up about what's on his mind, though he prefers staying in his own little bubble of solitude. He's also not afraid to confront a much larger cat, despite his frail-looking body. Skywalker doesn't mind, and actually quite enjoys bossing around other cats. Name: x Warrior Name: Swallowtrill Age: 20 moons Appearance: Swallowtrill is a medium-sized she-cat with a blue-grey pelt, similar to that of a mangrove swallow. Her fur is tinged with darker shades of grey that stain the ends of her fur, and her underbelly is white. Swallowtrill has vibrant blue eyes, given to her by her pure white-pelted mother. Her tail is rather long, tipped with a dark shade of grey that matches the odd ends of her fur. Her fur is short and rather soft. Personality: Swallowtrill is a talkative young she-cat, her chatty behavior may be the reason behind her Warrior's name. She enjoys hunting, and is one of the Clan's prized huntresses, volunteering for almost all of the hunting patrols unless she was fatigued. Swallowtrill is rather nosy, always trying to be included in any conversation and attempting to be in the center of attention. She hates being alone, constantly trying to seek out a cat to talk to, even sharing nests with her friends. Because of her needy behavior, Swallowtrill instantly assumes that any cat that she has talked to is a friend. Personality: Songflight has very sharp teeth, not to mention her sharp tongue. She likes peace and quiet, and can be very hostile when bothered. She has a very soft side when it comes to kits though, but is very picky about a potential mate. She is good with words, and can usually win an argument. He is a pretty good hunter, and is fairly fun and loving, often prefering to entertain other cats and play-fight. This means he can get on the wrong side of senior, more expierienced warriors though, and can easily make enemies in other clans. Though he is isn't good at defending cats and himself (of just enything in general) with words like his sister, he is very loyal. Leafshade just doesn't think before he talk/acts. But Lakripple is quick to throw herself into her duties, and is a hardworking cat, making her a fierce adversary. She is quite friendly with a few cats though. Clan: ReedClan Rank: New warrior Crush: Swanflight Other: N/A Name: Echo is his true name, though he is called names like Bandit, Ninja, and Stalker by local Twoleggs because he'll steal food left out for kittypets, or at least, he used too, when he couldn't hunt very well. Warrior Name: Echopaw (As a warrior Echomask) Gender: Male Age: 8 moons Appearance: Echopaw is a dark gray tom, with black flecks throughout his pelt. He has blue eyes. Personality: Echopaw has been hardened by the wilderness, but being amongst other cats is softening him, and he's become quite friendly with some other cats in his clan. He's a fast runner, and good at climbing trees. He is quick to pick a fight though with hostile cats, and is unusually good at getting into trouble, but he often tries to make up for it, unless making up for it involves cleaning elders for ticks. Clan: Reedclan. Rank: loner/apprentice, he hunts for the clan, and helps defend their borders, but he lives out in their territory by himself, and he doesn't always stay there, sometimes he hunts in a nearby Twolegg village. Crush: N/A Other: Echopaw lived with his mother and older sister as loners, but his sister left right before his mother was killed by a badger, when Echopaw was six moons old. He's been living by himself since.

Appearance: Thunderstrike is a dark orange tabby with black stripes that are jagged to resemble lightning bolts. His fur is sleek and short, but on the backs of his legs, the fur has some length. It is the same for his tail. He has a niche in his right ear. And his eyes are a deep, calming blue.
Personality: Thunderstrike is mostly vocal when the occasion arises, he stays quiet when he is not needed. But that quietness is not to be mistaken for shy, he would tear some poor cat's ear off for that. Fierce, protective, and slightly aggressive are his other traits.

Personality: Shadefire is always trying to help those in need, in any way she can. And she will most likely find a way. Calm when around those who are nearly in hysterics and kinds towards the ones hurt. She is like the perfect Medicine Cat, but she does have her flaws because not every cat is perfect. Speed and stealth are her friends because of her lean body and longer-than-normal tail that has log fur along the edges that is tipped in a rather rusty-like orange.
Personality: Spiritflame is a cat that will always listen before jumping any conclusions. She also waits and listens before jumping into things. Quick to defend her Clanmates, Spiritflame is more on the quiet side than most. She is careful and loving, but she can turn quite fierce when the occasion arises. Clan: LeafClan

He is relatively short-furred, but his tail has some length to it. Tipping his ears is a faint black. His eyes are different colours. His right is a bright yellow, while the left is a calming blue.
Personality: Flamestripe is straight-forward and will sometimes not take "No," as an answer. Stubborn to a fault because of that. He is strangely protective of his family, even through they can take care of themselves. Flamestripe can also be very aggressive and fierce when defending his territory against a rival Clan. His tail is longer than most and it is tipped with light red. As are his paws and the tips of his ears. Icefox has pierceing green eyes.
Personality: Icefox is a very quiet tom. He watches from the shadows and only acts when he needs to. Get him mad, and he attacks like a fox in a fit. Literally. Icefox is actually very easy to befriend and will always stand by his friend's side. Clan: LeafClan
