I follow the show, It's not my favourite, but i enjoy it.

I'd like to read the books, as the storyline for the show seems to be rushing things a little, at least from my point of view...

I've heard rumours of cancellation, which may or may not be true

I really hope they don't cancel, it is my all-time favorite show and I am afraid to read the book(s) because I don't want to ruin the show...see, when I first started watching the show I didnt know it was based off a book xD

I was told before i started, but i like to compare, and usually end up hating the adaptation,

the only one so far i haven't hated and love both the show and the books is Game of thrones... but that's a different story.

Ratings i think are down, if this show is cancelled, this will be the second show i've followed this year to be cancelled (The first was a Superhero show called The Cape)

I like brian, purely because he's sorta normal... and doesn't borderline stalk Chloe, also Alek's wierd sniff thing in the pilot put me off his character.
That's just my opinion.

Lols i think alek is hilarious like in the pilot when chloe asks if there will be more changes he says "no, just a tail." xD alek is probably my favorite character in that show nd of course he "borderlne stalks" chloe, its his job! xD

If it cancels i will have a breakdown x3 I love that show soooo much! <3

Again, i am afraid to read the books because i didnt know it was a book until recently and now i dont want to spoil the show for myself xD

Mai, or human, probably, hard to choose between them. Probably more Mai though, cat powers and being decended from one of my favourite egyptain goddess. that would be awesome.

There have actually been a small number of egyptain cat gods though. and Bastset wasn't the most powerful of them, that ti
tle belonged to the Lioness headed goddess, Sekhmet (goddess of war)

But the Mai linage founded by bastset doesn't really surpise me, in some of the books on ancient egyptain cat gods, she is also the goddess of the moon, and the goddess of love.

 I know it's Alek's job, but i still find it a little creepy.

I choose Brian every time.

 I watch a lot of UK shows... so British accents are no big deal for m.

Jemi, ah.  I admit that I have a crush on Alek.  And his accent is only one of many reasons.  lol

So what do you think about the mom?  I honestly don't like how it's like Chloe has free reign.  The mom doesn't even act like a mom, in my opinion.  I think that's my only issue with the entire show.

I've seen that with buffy, so It doesn't really bother me either.

My favourite characters would have to be Amy, Jasmine and Paul.

I knew about Sekhmet but actually Baset (Bast) was known more for good nature than her warlike nature.

I would choose to be Mai without a second thought! <3

Alek is SO HOT!!!!!!! xD I choose Alek every time, I think his character is great and I love how he messes with Chloe like in the last episode where he hid in her room when her mom came in xD

Well next week's ep is the last ep, possibely before cancellation or before the second half or the season

I'm finding it a bit too teenish for my taste it's become too much about the whole who will chloe choose story rather than being actually being pushed towards something worthwhile.

 Which is something i don't like, it just sorta feels a little like twilight like that, and if i'm offending anyone, i apologize but that's just how i feel.

To be fair, I'm only really interested in the symbol language  and stuff from the nine paths promo.

Sooo much ..... *enter spoiler here* Loved the twist at the end for Alek, though I was kinda guessing it since Zane showed up....

Loved it, just like watching a joss whedon finale.... except it's not.

I couldn't believe they killed Brian! I don't really mind but still it was a surprise! Chloe is down to 7 lives now, right? I also couldn't believe that they killed off Jamine and Valentina but I'm guessing (hoping) Jasmine could be healed like when she took that knife in the back for Chloe in episode 1. The twist at the end for Alek didn't really surprise me and brother or not I would have killed him anyway without a second thought if I were in Alek's place.

LOVED IT! I was hanging on the edge of my seat the entire time and I actually yelled at the commercials for being so long xD

Yeah.  That sucked, really.  :'(  Poor Brian.  I may be team Alek, but Brian didn't deserve to die.  He was such a nice guy.  And Chloe's going to have huge guilt now.

And I was Heartbroken for Alek when he overheard Chloe tell her mom she was in love with Brian.  I wanted to hug him.

I hope that Jasmine lives, too.  So screwed up to have so many main characters' lives in jeopardy/ended during the first season finale.

Also, I think Brian's dad is gonna try to kill Chloe's mom.  I hope Alek does kill the dude, even if it is his brother.  He killed Valentina and (possibly) Jasmine and shouldn't get away with it.

I want to know what happened to Brian's mom, what Brian's grandma has to do with everything, and how she got ahold of Chloe's book.

Apparently in the books brian lives, but i don't know for sure as I haven't read them

There is a rule of thumb in most shows like this, If it's not a gun, chances are they arn't dead.

Same here sm, i wanted hug alek when he overheard chloe talking to her mom too ;3 And even though I found brian relatively annoying he did keep the show sort of interesting and chloe will probably spend the next episode or two feeling totally terrible about herself.

Also maybe Zane is only saying taht he's alek's brother to catch him off guard! It makes very little sense that he scolded Alek for saying he will kill him when Zane was going to kill Alek anyway! Either Zane has no heart (likely) or he is just faking to catch Alek in a moment of indecision (also likely) or maybe a bit of both! :O

Oh an sm you may say that it is so screwed u to leave so many main character's lives in jeopardy at the end of the season but that's just how they make certain that more people watch the next season so the show doesn't get canceled.
