They'll age naturally, each day they're age will go up by one.
When they're 15 they will reach their adolescence stage and when they reach 30 they'll be a fully grown adult (they will continue to age when they reach the adult stage)
You can also get them zapped by a Regression Ray, which is an old item that some users still own.
A "Zap" can change your pet to ages 0, 15 or 30.
