I got the extra raffle tickets but I still can't hatch another egg. Is there something special I need to do to activate it?

It's a premature notification. It just need a little bit more activities to trigger the button to collect an extra hatch.

I actually figured out what happened, I accidentally clicked on an egg that wasn't done incubating and that failure wasted my extra hatch.
