When hatching spoiled eggs, I know it says that there is a 5% hatch rate and a 70% chance of Mutants being hatched. I've been hatching spoiled eggs for the past week but all of them have failed... What is the likelihood that spoiled eggs will hatch at all, mutant or no? When it says that the mutant rate is 70% and the hatch rate is 5%, does it really mean that there is only a 5% chance that the egg will hatch at all and a 70% chance that the creatu hatched will be mutant?

aha yes this can be a bit confusing but I'm pretty sure you nailed it

There's a 5% chance that the egg will hatch, if the egg does hatch then there's a 70% chance that the resulted pet will be mutated

I find that I have a lot better luck with old or even fresh eggs ^U^
