There has been a question that has been on my mind for a while. Say you wanted to give your newly hatched creatu (or use a nametag on an existing creatu), and you find out the name's taken. You look up the creatu's name (or have someone else do it for you) and you see who owns it, but when you click on their name, it tells you the account has been banned and when you click on Showroom, it leads you to your own showroom.
Basically my question is: Is there a way to get that pet name from that banned account? I read that staff sometimes cleans out showrooms of old accounts to keep pet names in circulation.
Yep staff used to periodically clear names off accounts but it was a very tedious process that took ALOT of time as, I think, they had to clear each pet individually.
from what I understand they will implanting a way to mass clear pets/ names in the upcoming V4 so hopefully that will happen with in the new version.
Inactive accounts wont be touched.
there isn't a release date on v4 yet so at the moment I'm afraid you wont be able to get to the names ;n;
