- As you can see, the name I've chosen to be known by on here is Ygdrassil. Yes, that's a Norse myth reference. I'm kind of a mythology/folklore buff. I love learning, I love listening, and I'm always happy to offer an objective viewpoint, so please do feel free to contact me. I'll do my best to answer as soon as I can.
- Real talk: I've been on here since day 10 of the advent calendar, and I've only just worked up the courage to even touch the forums, let alone introduce myself. Social anxiety is a jerk. Don't think chat's going to be an option for me for a while. :/ Nervousness aside, I am glad to meet you and perfectly happy to interact with you. If you could please keep a couple of things in mind, though, that would be fantastic:
-I generally can't make the first move. 98 times out of 100, if you want to talk to me, you'll have to be the one to start the conversation.
-I am not good at reading or expressing emotions. In fact, I'm just not good at emotions. Period. If I come across as rude or snappish, please tell me. Chances are, I had no idea and didn't mean to.
-I will not always be able to respond right away. Some days, it's all I can do the watch other people interact, and actively being social is beyond me. Other days, I'm just too exhausted to come up with a coherent answer. Don't take it as a snub or discourtesy if I don't get back to you within an hour or three. Or if my reply is only a few words long.
That's all I can think of right now, which probably means I'm forgetting something, but whatever. Hello, nice to meet ya, hope to see you around. I'm gonna go find a nice, quiet corner and crash now.
