Well, like most of the people on this board I'm new to the site. I managed to come across it just a little while ago and it seems quite interesting.
 
I managed to find the guides and they were very helpful, though I still have a few questions since they seem rather outdated. I know that the color hierarchy was addressed, but where do calico, amber, and the other unlisted colors fall? Are there any other pets which I can obtain only at certain times? What is Uldavi?
 
As for me, I'm Drocell as my username states. I tend to be a little bit awkward (like right now...) around people since I don't encounter them much, but I'm hoping this will help bring me out of my shell before semester starts. I tend to listen to a lot of music and am fond of anime in general. I like to draw sometimes, but I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist so it's not uncommon for me to give up. Of the pets on Res I think the sirleon is my favorite, though I'm quite fond of some of the others.

...I'm not quite sure what else to say, so I suppose I'll end it here and resume lurking through other peoples posts and being intimidated by the shoutbox.

 EDIT: Names? Could someone explain a bit more about this to me as well? They seem to be a defining feature of this site. What makes for a good name?

Calico is very new, you can hatch it, its rarity is less then a albino and rarier then blond

Amber, azure, rose, those colors your can die your pet with die kits. You can get the dye kits from the black merchant, but they are around 3mil and more

Uldavian is a alien planet, two pets are from them, you obtain them from kir's quest

 Names: creatu names such as real word names, peoples names, are what people like to obtain cause they mean something to them. Those names could sell for a mil if it means something to them.
