Okay, you need to explore and find an egg, or i can give you one. Then you go to the hatchery under my account and then incubate it. When it says ready you can hatch it, then name it.

No. If you are a rancher or a merchant it doesn't matter. You still hatch eggs the same way. You've gone to the hatchery icon under "my account" on the navigation box on the left of the page? You incubate your egg, it takes about 20 minutes, and if you hatch the egg correctly, you can name it so on and so forth.
