Hi people,

 I'm Moon Dapple, and new to Res. I don't really completely know what it is. I joined on account of my friend; she introduced me to it. Is this kinda like neopets? And im a little confused on what people are talking about in the chat room. Any info and advice is needed, thanks!!!!! :)

Welcome to Res!

It's slightly different from Neopets in the sense that the creatu(pets) here can die if you don't feed them, you can have an unlitmited amount of pets as long as you have the tu(money) to upgrade your showroom for more space. In your showroom, pets won't lose hunger or die, so if you're going on a long holiday, you can just leave them there till you get back. Unlike Neo, Res doesn't have that many flash games, most users will tell you that they stay on this site for the community and others for the sake of completeing their collections.

The sb/chatroom is pretty much random, people will talk about almost anything there, but it is usually about the site itself, drawing, writting and little things that occur in lives of people. If you need help you can always ask there, they should be willing to help you if you ask. If you're ignored, it is usually because they are too absorbed in their own conversations, the sb is moving too fast, the site is currently lagging or no one has an answer.
