I've recently gotten into anime. I don't like watching hundreds of episodes about the same thing because I always want to know what's going to happen...curse my impatience. So I was wanderring if anyone knew of any reasonably short animes that are worth watching. If you have any suggestions, please don't hesitate to share! Just try and include a short summary; it doesn't have to be in depth because I will likely Google it before I watch it. I really like Kekkaishi, Inuyasha, and Fruits Basket. If you haven't watched any of those, I would highly recommend them; be careful, they're addicting. Thank you! Edit: I also love Blood Plus.

Code Ge*censored* -Two seasons, very good- Bleach -Loks of episodes. o.o But worth it- Shugo Chara -Not many episodes, decent- Ouran High School Host Club -One of the best- FullMetal Alchemist -Lots of episodes, good plot- Ghost Hunt -One of the best- Buso Renkin -Not many episodes, good plot- I will edit this post with more. o.o I gtg.

paha. Our tastes clash a bit. My personal favorite is Detective Conan. But that has [at least] 610 episodes and they're a little bit of a story, but is more of an episode thing. Exactly not what you're looking for, right. XD Uhh. I have never watched the anime version, but I do like Fairy Tail from what I read in the manga. o-o I think it's still an ongoing series, though. Also, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is another favorite of mine. Haven't watched it in a while, though. :C I'll post more as I think of more, yes. I don't like most mainstream, though. >__>' |

Yay~! You like Blood. :DD All the ones I suggested should be perfect for you. Not to mention Highschool Of The Dead, there's much blood in that.But in Highschool Host club, there's not blood. :( Same thing with shugo chara.

I like the anime films... My favourites have to be: Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle and My Neighbor Totoro, though. c:

Fruits basket was awsome Wolf's rain is very short, a little confusing at first, very sad at the end, but i loved it Summer wars was a good movie

I've seen most of those movies, and they were great. Blood Plus is an anime, but I do like blood. lol I'll check out the other animes you guys/girls mentioned. Thanks everyone!

My favorite were always Sasami Magical Girls Club Negima Ouran Highschool and... Hidimari sketch. Oh! and Kampfer.

I forgot all about Soul Eater. D; You should check it out. Good movies would be The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Howl's Moving Castle, Nausicaa and The Valley of The Wind, The Cat Returns, Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. :3 Wolf's Rain is....ehh, a little too wierd for me.

dotHack (.Hack) is one of my favorites, not sure how long it is since I haven't read all the way through. I also like Hellsing and Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles, though Tsubasa is over 200 books and Hellsing is pretty long itself. Tsubasa is really sad, and I've heard it gets fairly complicated as you get closer to the end (aven't gotten very far in it), and Hellsing's for the slightly older readers. (My favorite online manga-reading site is mangareader.net, free and easy to figure out.) |

It depends on the types of anime you like... Full Metal Alchemist is good if you like sorta-actiony, historical (fiction) with a touch of romance. If you do, try to watch " Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood " as it follows a little closer to the original manga storyline (is is much better, imo. Deeper characters and story line) Spirited Away is an awesome movie.

Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke are some of my favorites. <3 If you watch Inuyasha (and live under a rock like me), then you may like to know that there was another season called Inuyasha: The Final Act, that covers the story that was left out. It came out in 2009 or something. I had no clue.

Ouran high school host club BEST THING EVER ^ ummmm. short ones... blue submarine no. 6 and Tokyo magnitude 8.0 are like. ohmahlawd. best things ever. alch showed me them. you NEED to watch them youhavenoidea OH OH Mononoke the art style is different, but i really love it. it only has english subs but its so worth watching. and there are three or so episodes of it in Ayakashi - Samurai Horror Tales i have the links if you want them. its about the bakeneko, which is also the last part in mononoke. they are different though. heres the link to the first episode of mononoke http://www.veoh.com/watch/v8858523tfmbnjg the rest can be found on the side. c8 another good on is Dennou coil. i havent finished yet but i love the animation and alch showed me it so.
