Are you against animal abuse? I, for one, find it really cruel how people in society treat animals. It's really quite sad. Come post your views on animal abuse here!  D: How can anyone be so cruel to such an innocent creature?

I agree. Animal Abuse is wrong. Every animal should be treated fairly. No favortism and feeding the cute cat or dog more the than the ugly one. Animals have done nothing wrong, We are the ones who are evil. O_O I support the destruction of animal cruelty.

Of course animal abuse is wrong. D: It's really disappointing how easily people mistreat their pets and animals in general. You would never treat a human that way, so why should animals be any different?

i, and pretty much very sensible person in America agree. My kittens ( 7 months old ) were found on the side of the road in a box with their mama. They're all sweet cats, my friend and her cousin have all the other kittens and mama.

I can't believe people would hurt animals. I mean if it attacted them I could see it alright to defend yourself, but just because they didn't do something you wanted them to do or did nothing wrong at all isn't NO reason to hurt them!

^ I find that a bit rude, there's no need for negativity. No one is here is outright complaining or trying to rally up people to stop animal abuse. We're just talking. Of course it's still going to happen, even if we talk how horrible it is. I think this thread was opened so we could have a civilized discussion. Telling your pet who is in control does NOT involve abusing it, and if you believe so then you are mistaken. Also, your point about spiders is probably true, but there is a difference between killing a spider and abusing your pet, or a random animal. :/

I got an e-mail from a friend one day about how people in Canada just come up to harp seals and club 'em on the top of the head until they bleed to death... and all for a SPORT!!! I saw loads of pics of baby seals being harmed, and many innocent adult ones. There was blood all over the ice in some of them. I swear, it almost made me cry.

I can't agree more or less, Stunner. It gives me a sick feeling at the pit of my stomach. ;'( I mean, they look so innocent, and I don't understand how they can do such a thing without feeling bad about it. It's even hard for me to even turn against a butterfly. It's because they never did anything to us. Just to be clear, I made this thread to express our views on animal abuse. Not to try and stop it.

Yeah, it's hard for me to hurt even just a spider.
