Our RP fleshing thread, lol. 

Kay, Ran, this is what me and Bito have come up with so far...

Lol, i'm already getting pumped and we've hardly flesh the idea out yet xD

So what I was thinking was each of us (Ran, Bito, Prinx) would get a specific faction (for the lack of a better name... Good, Neutral and EVil). The 'Good' faction is made up of characters that want to do what's best for Rescreatu, keep the economy stable, rid the world of bad people.

The 'Neutral' faction are characters that are indifferent mostly. They are out for themselves, but have morals. They don't care too much about the rest of the world, but are fine as long as they're family is safe.

The 'Evil' faction is made up of people who are greedy, and have an extreme disregard for the law. They do things like steal millions of tu, illegally distrubute creatu (retired CSers?) and such and such. 

Not sure how the RP would play out too much. It could be like someone in the Evil faction escaped the clutches of someone from the Good faction and ends up hiding in Cain's shop or something. Drama... a neutral that was trailing an EVil is secretly infatuated with that person...

Hmmm... sounds promising.  And interesting.  I like the idea of the factions; we'll have to fight over who gets to be evil, probably.  XD  Maybe we could each come up with three charas - one Main, who is basically 'us', and then two sides who can be used for situations where our Main couldn't be around.  As for the source of conflict/action...

...Actually, Ran's usually good at figuring that part out.  BUT, if we got something that affected all of the factions, we could do a necessary-team-up type thing.  Like if creatu were mysteriously vanishing; Good would want to stop it, Neutral would want to rescue the creatu special to them, and Evil would hate being disadvantaged by the loss of resources.

The escapee idea has merit, too, though.  I like the thought of hiding out in the shop; jumping off from there might be tricky...

Or there could be some kind of big event coming up, that pits important people from all three factions as competing against one another.  Like a global contest or Creatu Olympics or something.  XD

Would you want to play as humans or creatu?  Or a mix?  I lean towards the former, but the latter can be fun as well.  ^.^

Yeah, I lean heavily towards humans xD I understand them more, per se. LOL.

The humans though, don't have to be complete humans. Like perhaps the Evil faction has more offensive 'powers' (But every power should have a slight draw backs to balance it out) For example... the Evil have super speed and stamina, but since they cheated nature, nature doesn't like them. i.e: trees trying to wack them with their branches. 

About creatu... what if they functioned as familiars? Every character has one familiar, (but ranchers can still sell thousands of them like in Real Rescreatu) 

And event... plot-making time xD What if we had Kir's brother come down from Uldavia, and he needs an apprentice? Or a new faction (Unknowns?) stole something of Loyona's and she has a huge reward for whoever finds it. Good needs funding, Neutral needs funding... Evil just wants the money....

I like the Loyona idea!    Then it can be equal parts race or cooperation, depending on what the situation calls for.  And I really like the familiar/powers idea, too.  Like, say, Evil has found a way to use the RMP's on humans to give them mutant speed/stamina, but it makes them sick.  The good guys can use waters from the springs on Atquati to heal their injuries, but it makes them more susceptible to ***age (like brittle bones or something) again afterward.  And neutrals could either just have no benefits or drawbacks (kind of boring, but it could be used well) or else, being more driven by their own perspective, they have a stronger bond type-thing with their creatu-familiar.

Ooh, I just had a thought!  What if we combined both your ideas, so that Kir's brother came down and stole Loyona's treasure?

Also, how would you want the familiar mechanic to work?  Telepathy?  Empathy?

This is gonna be fun.

Point. The factions were Good, Neutral and Evil for a lack of better names but it's basically what each group is more inclined to and what they're basic goals were. 

Nothing is set in stone right now, just throwing out and expanding on ideas that seem good.

The idea of creatu going missing is good. Expanding on that, why are they going missing and why does Kir's brother want them?

Just something i'm going to throw out there: Kir's brother wants the creatu because he desires to create some sort of robot (Kir invented the RSTU and he's jealous). An secret army of robotized creatu is then promptly spawning under everyone's nose. 

Also, we all could have one character each in a faction.  

If we have one character in each faction, then that's nine characters total, not counting creatu.  XD  Maybe it would be better to stick to one apiece, for now, and work out if we're each going to be in different factions or not later on.

Okay, so, to kind of create a cohesive plot idea...

Kir steals Loyona's treasure because he needs it to power a machine which turns creatu into robots.  He wants to build his army of robot creatu.  Loyona offers an obscenely valuable reward for anyone who brings back her treasure.  Everyone takes interest because, well, tu, and also the disappearing creatu thing is causing no end of grief.

Our intrepid charas are off to try and get the treasure back; whether they're competing with one another or working together remains to be seen.  In a heartbreaking twist, some of the oppositiong they face happen to be robot-ified creatu, as they work out just what the heck Procyon is doing.

One character is fine... perhaps we should lay off the faction idea for now? Until atleast, we get more into the idea.

ject perhaps be like a gaudy crown or something vain? Gives her a bit more character than if it was like a super awesome sword with an encrusted hilt. The crown could then have magical power-saturated diamonds on them or something.

Oooh, I like the crown idea.  Maybe it has different powers depending on who wears it?  So when Kir's brother wears it, it makes robots?

As for the factions, I can see how they could come up or not as we go along, so yeah, we could put them on the shelf for now.  Do we want to write up character sheets/make a template?

Lets. It will let us know the basics about who's who.

Should we include the powers (and mutations like RMP created abilities) or no? We could post our bios on here and tweek them depending on what each other thinks about the special abilities and such (So they aren't near God-like) 

Yeah, we should post anything about any abilities we want, for exactly the reasons you said.  Helps keep things balanced, so that we're all on the same page magnitude-wise.

In my case, though...

Name: Marsella Dula

Age: 24

Appearance: Tall, with short-cropped, curly red hair, acid yellow eyes, and a tan complexion.

Occupation: Merchant.

Abilities: RMP potion abilities.  Gives her fast reflexes, and adds a somewhat more flexible consistency to her skin and bones, which makes her more durable as well.  Has trouble focusing due to exposure to the toxic chemicals, however.

Personality/History: Mars bought the family business out from underneath her cousin, but inherited the debts along with all of the remaining stock and the storefront.  Certain criminal elements on Reiflem have consequently been pressuring her for a repayment which she can't afford.  That said, she's a very determined individual, and would probably be best described as 'harsh' and 'cold'.

Familiar: Larenne, female black otachie.

Other Details: None that I can think of at the moment.

Name: Adrasteia Sozu

Age: 18 

Appearance: Pale, chest-length pin-straight black hair and oddly catoyant feline-esque indigo eyes. 5'7 height.

Occupation: Living off of her uncle Malcolm (Black Market owner). Wants to go into the business sometime. 

Abilities: Very fast. Tons of stamina. This is through RMP potion abilities, and draws backs are that she gets suddenly sick at random intervals. Perhaps soul-sending in the future?

Personality/History: Adra gets annoyed easily, and first impressions are everything to her. She is ruthless, and not much a caring person... mothering isn't her thing. Lives the good life with her Uncle Malcolm, cold because of her surroundings. (will add more later)

Familiar: Lyrs, female silver Ebilia.

Other Details: Only child. Parents were killed off by a wave of plague that swept through Atquati (her home planet), and sent to live with her long lost Uncle Malcolm.

Name: Procyon

Age: Unknown.  

Appearance: Almost the spitting image of Kir except his body is made out of darker colored metals (stronger, more durable) 

Occupation: Rancher-esque. Buys and sells RSTUs for Kir.

Abilities: Sci-fi awesomeness. Fast, near indestructable (still fleshing)

Personality: For his facade, he's quite pleasant and Kir loves him like a brother. Inside, though, he's cruel, amoral/immoral, overly-ambitious and cares more for his plans than family.

Familiar: More like his favorite minion. A heavily modified RSTU named Stratus which is wired to be more servant-like than companion-like. 

Other details: Kir's only brother (younger). Lived on Uldavia, selling his brother's creations (RSTUs) for a living. Secretly, though, he was immensely jealous of his brother's success and internally stives to make a better robot than Kir. One day though, Kir asks Procyon if he would move to Rescreatu to help him collect creatu. Procyon, previously on Uldavia, snatches up the invitation. 

I was aiming at evil or neutral, actually, Ran-Ran.  X3  So it's probably good you can't tell.  I guess I'll be neutral if we go with factions; we'll just have neutrals capable of employing either side's bonus-and-disadvantage, yes?

Looks like we've got a couple of cold hearts in the works.  Hmm.  Well, Adra seems like she might have a temper, at least, which Mars doesn't - so there's that.  Ran's probably going to have to pick up the slack in the empathy department; nice guy caught between two ruthless ladies.  XD
