hi everyone, my family and i just spent 8 hours in a car going to and from england (we're in the west of scotland) just to look at our new pug puppy. She's only 4 weeks old so we have to wait another 4 weeks before we can take her home which means 8 more hours in a car ;d. Anyways i thought i'd share some pictures of her with you guys. Oh and we've decided that her name is toyah.
awww. Hi kizzy. That's an adorable puppy! That must have been a killer ride. I would have been so excited i would just not be able to sit still for eight hours...^.^
Yay, we just got her yesterday and she's still so tiny! She's already gotten pretty atatched to all of us (except my other dog Kizzy who's currently avoiding her but she's making slow progress). We just got her first vaccination so she's really sleepy (and cute) right now. :)
yeah, had her for just over a week now. She's a LOT of work but in the end it's worth it. It's especially funny watching her with my other dog Kizzy, she follows her around like a shadow, pawing her and trying to bite her tail to the point that Kizzy gets fed up and starts growling and chasing her away. She never actually tries to hurt her though, she just tries to show her who's boss but Toyah is almost completely unaffected by it and continues to bound after her constantly. :)
I found a picture on google of a pug with a cairn terrier, maybe that helps give an idea of the size they grow to. They're usually slightly smaller than cairns. I saw somewhere that females are usually 10-12 inches as adults.
Here's a funny fact, did you know that another name for pugs is mops?
