So, the other day I noticed that at the left base of my jaw, or just underneath it, i had quite a bit of swelling there, and as the day went along, I started to notice that I couldnt eat without a massive stinging sensation go from inside of my mouth (where the glands that produce saliva are, just under the tounge) down to where the swelling was. And every time I eat, the gland in my mouth swells really badly. My mother thinks it might be strep, but I didnt get the usual symptoms. If any of you are nurses, doctors, or just may know what this is, please tell me...it still hurts ;~;
