Hey all!! I figured rather than just posting in the SB or bothering other chats to talk about my Nuzlocke challenge, Id just make a thread here lol. Of course, I only thought about this now, as Im grinding levels for the third Gym, but Ive been documenting some of the info as I go.

If you are unfamiliar with what a Nuzlocke challenge is, there are a few basic rules;
You can only catch the first pokemon you encounter on each route.
You MUST name each of your pokemon.
If a pokemon of yours faints, its dead. You have to either box it, or release it.

After playing for a bit, I adjusted a few rules to make it more fun for me, rather than frustrating, so my additions are;
Any Legendaries or shinies are free to catch, but can only be used if they were the first encounter.
"Dupe Clause" If I catch a Pidgey, and then run into another as my first encounter, I CAN skip that and try again if I wish.
This one will be the most contested for some, but this is my game. I can use up to THREE Revives, IF they found. I cannot purchase any.
