Some mathematicians can come on here as well, you cute math people you.  I was thinking that maybe we could have a collaboration group on science related problems and discus the finer point of the subjects.  I don't want this to turn into a just asking questions group though, please answer a few things as well.  Possibly, a good starting point would be to ask what your favorite subject of science is?  What is your favorite experiment? You know any awesome facts or current event in technology?

If you have any questions related to:

- Biology

- Chemistry

- Physics

- Environmental

There is a possibility I can help.  I am better with biology, mostly genetics I love genetics, and even better at chemistry than bio.  I might be able to help with some parts in environmental science but not overly.  These are the subjects I know enough about to even try to offer talking about them.  I guess I should answer my own questions huh?  Well, my favorite subject is chemistry hands down.  Second is I guess genetics... wait that's not really a full blown thing on it's own, one day genetics, one day.  My favorite experiment is the good old experiment where you burn a strip of magnesium and obtain it's weight to see how much of it reacted. I love that one because it is so quick and still exciting.

I work in the field of psychology (behavioral research.) I can answer some questions relating to that.

I am a math major specializing on the field of Finance. I can probably answer whatever Math questions you throw at me (maybe 90% of the time, lol). But yeah, I'd be glad to help those who are struggling with it.

Sounds great, thanks you two.  When someone comes on here and needs something I think well have them pretty covered then.

I think you should start a science fan club!

Hmm, my favorite science? Definitely has to be Geology, though I do love genetics as well. I'm currently working on my masters in Geology and planning to work in the petroleum industry.

My dream would be to get my PhD and become a vertebrae paleontologist but I think that's a ways off ^^;

Geology is very interesting, we live in an extremely mineral rich area so I am always itching to learn more about some of the rocks.

Originally I put this in the clubs section, but it got put here instead.  I might try and start another one over there though. :P

To become a vertebrae paleontologist do you have do go through some extensive classes in biology?   That carrier field sounds very fun to work in though, and would probably be worth the extra work to get there!
