Ever since Twilight, Wizards of Waverly Place, Harry Potter, and the like came into existence.. I would like to know your definition of specific mythical creatures. What do you think they are? It could be vampires, angels, werewolves, zombies, etc.
Try to describe what you think of them and what they should be, in your opinion.

Vampires - Should burn, smoke or if left in sunlight for too long, die. not sparkle.and should be able to be killed by a stake through the heart, decaptiation repelled by holy water, crosses, garlic.
Don't exsist in RL outside of bats and bloodsucking paracites like fleas.
Werewolves, full moon shifters only, also are slightly humanoid when in 'wolf form.
