HEY GUESS WHAT GUYS
I
quit my horrible job and have free time again. I'll be opening up this
thread again soon but it may have slightly bent rules, or higher prices
depending on what goes on. I will be deciding if I want to continue
adoptable beasties, or just make a commission thread instead. My art has
improved a bit and I now have a tablet so productions will probably be a
little faster and easier for me.
Here's hoping to bring this back soon.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Across the vast seas of a seemingly uninhabited planet, our local scientists have discovered a mass of land they have deemed, Koduo. This lush, ever-changing land houses thousands of new species; some we have found very similar to our earthly creatures, while others are far from the norm. Many of these creatures, which have been affectionately nicknamed 'Beasties', were incredibly docile, and tameable to become companions to humans. However, they seem to be very picky when trusting a human life-form...These creatures must hatch in the presence of their new owner in order to develop a true bond. Some have been lucky enough to tame the Beasties even in adulthood, though the bond is rarely as strong as a new-born meeting their human partner after hatching.Our goal to learn more about these otherworldly creatures can only be met with your help. For a small fee, to help towards the discovery of new findings, you may purchase an egg of one of the many Beasties we have incubated and ready to hatch. Some Beasties are very rare and fickle about certain things such as breeding, or reacting to our various methods of altering their DNA. These rare Beasties will be purchased at higher prices compared to others that are common or uncommon, to ensure their species does not die out, and that they will be given to a wonderful and worthy owner who will take full responsible care. With this being said, and so much more to learn, I ask that you look around, read on, and if interested, visit our laboratory and peer inside the incubators to pick your newest friend for life.

A Mutation Injection will alter your Beastie to sprout another body part. We can control this alteration according to the consumer's wishes. If wanted, the Beastie can grow horns, wings, another limb, a tail or second tail, large claws, spines, fins, etc. Whatever you wish! ( 50k per mutation. I.E: Horns = 50k. Horns + Wings = 100k etc )
A DNA Transferal will transform your Beastie into another existing Beastie of your choice. (Rare Beasties Are Not Affected By This Item!)
An Accessory Kit will allow you to dress your Beastie with various items of your liking. You may give your Beastie Headphones, Earrings, cuffs, a scarf, whatever you may wish. Each item will cost 50k TU. ( Earrings come in pairs. I will not charge you 50k per earring on each ear. You may have just one earring if you wish. If you only want ONE earring, or something else very very small and easy, I will deduct some TU from the cost if it is the only item you are wanting)
A Color Palette lets you change the color scheme of your Beastie's Coat, only. You can choose your recolors. Keep in mind this only applies to the colors, NOT the patterns or markings on your Beastie.
The Nesting Room gives your Beastie a place to breed with another. Please read the Breeding notes for specific information about Breeding!
The Patterned Dust allows you to change the markings or patterns on your Beastie. Does not allow the changing of the colors, JUST the patterns.
A Satchel of Crystals allows the recoloration AND change of patterns to your Beastie. You may request a complete re-do of the colors and patterns.
When Purchasing Eggs, I require the TU to be sent before I post the hatched Beastie.

::Breeding Notes::
When a Nesting Room is purchased, you may have your Beastie enter it with another Beastie to produce young. However, there are several things to know about the process of breeding. Please read on.
Obviously to breed your Beasties, you need two, a male and female. You may breed your own Beasties together as long as they are compatible, or work together with another Res User to mate your Beastie with theirs. Obviously, you must work out the deal with your partner to obtain the eggs that are produced. I do not want this to start a fight, so you must both agree on something together, before you consider breeding. When I design the babies that the Beasties have, I base them on genetics and traits through a number generator. This includes colorations, patterns, and even mutations ( yes, they can pass through to the young ). When you breed, the Beasties will produce a certain amount of eggs. Common and Uncommon Beasties will always produce 3 eggs. Rare, will only produce 1 egg per breeding, and can only produce 2 eggs per mate. After they have had 2 eggs with a certain mate, they must find another if you wish to breed them again. ( This applies to breeding with another user's Rare Beastie as well! )When breeding with another user, one of you will choose one egg, and the other will choose another egg. The third egg will remain in the upcoming batch for adoption. Rare beasties who only produce one egg will either need to be negotiated amongst the two users for custody of the egg, OR it may be gifted to another user. Please DO NOT attempt to sell the egg to another user for custody. It can only be gifted.
If you are breeding a rare with another user's rare, and you wish to both obtain an egg, you may breed once more with that same user's mate, and the price will be halved.
Rare Beasties will ONLY breed with other rares. ( this may change later ) Uncommon and Common will breed amongst each other. Rare Beastie Breeding Price = 300kCommon/Uncommon Breeding Price = 100k

I've run into a bit of a family issue, and eggs won't arrive for a while longer. I will finish any projects I already have asap, but eggs have been pushed back a bit. My main priority is my family and my job. My apologies everyone.

Haha no prob you guys <3 I was working on the rare species for like three days. ( It was rather detailed, and I kept going back and forth between that one and finishing the egg images ) I'm working on the uncommon and common ones now. They will not take me long. I'm hoping I can have them up by tonight, or tomorrow morning. I'll post a new post to the thread announcing the opening once they're up and ready to be bought.
Edit:: -.- I just discovered my comp didn't save my wip file for working on the uncommon one >.< I hate do-overs from save fails. xD Well, gotta ink it again. :|

Alright, GYfox, payment received. :> Posting your Beasties, now.
You pick up the small furry bundle of an egg in your hands...the sides of it folding around the edges of your palms and forming into the shape of your fingers. It begins to tremble and move as if breathing. It grows slightly larger, then writhes and wiggles about, soon unfolding itself...a long-necked furry creature uncurls its body, shedding the excess fur of the egg. It flicks its tail and softly coos.
Congratulations! You now own a young Magpie Flauff!  Congratulations! You now own a young Green Jay Flauff!  The Flauff is a grazing species, that grow to about 10 feet tall. They are omnivores, but prefer the lush greenery of the Koduo Jungles. They are one of the few species that thrive in large packs, and have developed a tribe-like lifestyle. They seem to have their own ways of communication, and can use tools. They are thought to have a druidic nature. Their patterns mostly resemble our Earth's avian life, although we have found some that have varying patterns.

LOL I just said that about H. xD!!! Alrighty then, TU received. Posting now. :> You pick up the armored egg carefully avoiding the sharp stinger protruding from it. You notice the fleshy membrane wrapped inside of the armor pulse with life like a heartbeat. The armor begins to crack, and the membrane rips open...the stinger unfolds into a curl and a small creature crawls out, shaking the armor off. It clings to your thumb and opens its large eyes, then flutters its small transparent wings as it meets your gaze.Congratulations! You are now the owner of the Rare Levimaus!  rnCongratulations! You are now the owner of the Rare Levimaus!  The Levimaus is a very cautious and shy creature that makes its home within the rocky canyons of Koduo. They live in small crevices in cliffs by any water they can find, and live in swarms together, communicating like our Earthly bats, using squeaks and shrieks to call to each other. The stinger on its tail is filled with a paralyzing venom, capable of taking down creatures 20x their size. Its large ears help with their flight, despite their appearance. The flesh that makes them is very thin and flexible, making for a great gliding tool. These creatures enjoy painting themselves with the insides of insects they find, and the nectar from Koduo's flowers. Please fill out the After the Hatch form? :> Hope you like. ^^;
