Sarats are elusive creatures, found only on a distant planet known as Teberus Prime. They have the uncanny ability to turn their bodies completely into shadow, and prefer the dark and serenity of the planet's cave systems. Over the past few years, humans have discovered this hidden species, and have composed a device, known as a Seeker that allows the user to view a Sarat. This device is worn over the eye, and when activated will "tag" a user and the nearest Sarat, allowing the human to view the creature. Once a user and Sarat are tagged, another human cannot use the device, and the tagged human can only see the one Sarat.
Being telepathic by nature, oftentimes the Sarat will make contact with their human and will bond with them. Sometimes, the Sarat will even become that human's life-long companion, loyally following them as they travel through the galexy. Now, as more research is being done and this technology is being more heavily distributed, Seekers are becoming available to the public... but for a price.

Ehh, what do you want? Ahh yes, a Seeker? Bloody machines they are... I've heard that a couple of bounty hunters stoled an entire load of them things a bit back, and used them to hunt down Sarats for their hides. Nasty things... and to think I invented the darned devices? Bah! Hey, but what would someone like you care? Anyway, here they are. Be warned; these creatures are not to be taken lightly. Very trusting creatures they are. They are perhaps even more intelligant than you or I, so don't go wasting their trust. And take my word for it: betray a Sarat, and you'd better count your prayers.
Seeker device: Allows the viewing of a random Sarat. - 400k
Sarat whistle: Allows you to call in the Sarat of your choice (costom). - 700k
Small Mutation hormone (add small extra: different horns, bracelets, spikes, ect) + 100k
Large Mutation (add large extra: wings, cyborg parts, ect) + 250k

diamondwing - If you insist. I want full credit for the idea of the creature, and a link to this thread, as well as "Olea Riece - LaCortoriReturn" in it somewhere. I will request a link to the story before you publish it, and will want to approve of the use of my character in it before it is published to any extent.
