Firstly, I need your most honest opinion. It doesn't matter if you tell me I suck and should stop drawing, my only requirement is that your completely honest. A couple months ago, I created my fursona, Aralei. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any art for her that I'm satisfied with (I loved one user's drawing, but it won't show up on my profile). So, I decided to draw her myself. This took me about 20min to sketch and 20min to colour. 
Opinions?

I really like the wolf, The back toes look a little too big, that's really the only thing I see :)

Is it a wolf? The face looks more fox shaped. http://akvis.com/img/examples/sketch/wolf-sketch/wolf-photo.jpg The back end looks really round too. That's about all c:

I think everything's really nice. I also like the way you do your eyes. :3 The only I think is a bit awkward is the tail coming out from the side. It might be just me though, because I don't usually draw wolves in that direct angle. xD

Tryst~ I was thinking wolf-fox. When I first created her, she was wolf, but then I found that I had a soft spot for foxes, so Aralei changed into wolf-fox. And yeah >.< All my wolves/foxes end up with a round back even though I sketch it non-round Clouding~ Thanks <3 I based the position on a dog in the neighbourhood xD Not the best comparison, but my mom wouldn't let me have a wolf in the house xD

I really like the concept. And I like the simplicity, for sure. But I'm having trouble pronouncing the name. AIR-uh-lee, uh-RA-lee, ARE-uh-lie...? I can come up with about 6 pronunciations for the name. :x

Murgy~ I know >.< I spend an hour trying to find a nice pronounciation. I settled on Ar (Like pirate ARRRR)-ah-lee So your second guess is pretty close :3

I think it looks good and I really like the way the eyes look. There are a few anatomical issues, but I think those have been covered pretty well but the other comments. Have you ever thought of smudging the pencil marks with your hands or a tortillon? It can make a huge difference softening the pencil marks and making the fur look more realistic. |

Following what Drocell said, if you do choose to use a tortillion or your fingers to smudge things, be careful. Most people who just smudge loads tend to overdo it. And it looks horrible. I also think a kneadable eraser would be useful so that you can erase and make fine hairs pop out.
