I was randomly thinking about applying for artist ... (just item .. not pet) but had this in mind for the Aukira? anyone like it? anything i should change? (besides clean up the drawings and fix up some minor face issues on the adult)

The baby is the bottom one. 

The poses are quite similar to that of the current Aukira, and a bit bland in my opinion. Maybe make them doing some striking poses? Such as working those tail feathers, or maybe curling that llama neck of theirs. ;o

This does not apply to the baby. It is to die for.

These are very cute.

Along with some of the other suggestions people have made, I would add: Do not be afraid to give the body more m*censored*!

You can see in these ref images that birds tend to have a very full body and smaller head: emu emu ca.ssowary

Bulky bodies are also seen on birds of flight as well.

Generally giving animals full, bulky bodies makes them look strong and healthy.

Even for creatu it is important to study the real life critter designs they are based on!

oh, also mind your feet design! I don't think Aukira would have anything like webbed toes at any stage considering they roam the hot ground of Reiflem!

I didn't even think about the webbed toes Xeeroh xD silly me... that makes sence and normally thats something I would catch >.< They have webbed toes for some reason in the design now haha  blegh haha  as for the bulky body bit, i was going for more raptor body then emu ... cause the deion of the actual creatu says its a digging underground creature when its younger... so i was thinking muscular pinguin vs spindly emu ^_^
