So, I've had GIMP for a good while now (well, not a year or such, but for a good amount of time :P) and haven't used it in a week since school kept me from doing my usual banner making. I went to open it up, and it loaded halfway but froze. It became unresponsive, froze up my entire computer, and in the end, I had to manually shut my computer off by hitting the power button. Whenever I try, it becomes unresponsive. I've looked it up and it says it's likely the font folder thing taking too long to load, but that folder is empty as my computer has a very smal selection of fonts to chose from. GIMP's the program I usually use, so I have no clue what to do now.
Anyone have an idea on how to fix this? XD
I have a Windows XP, if that has anything to do with it, though I doubt it as it worked fine in the past.
