I'm trying to make banners, does it look good?

I'm going to be posting all the banners I make here.
I've recently wanted to start get artistic so if 
you have suggestions or critique of my banners
don't be afraid to lay it down. I'm going to need it!

Critiques? You asked for it.
1) The color of the text doesn't go well with the background, it's very hard to see, and it can hurt to look at. 
2) The border is perfectly a rectangle, apparently people think it looks better if the banner shape for the background down't perfectly match the picture. In other words, the picture breaks out of the frame.

Other things aside, it's pretty good for a first banner.

What do you advise the color of the text to be?
Also okay, I'll reshape and mess around with the shape of the banner.

A color that could work well on this banner might be white with a black outline.

I think it looks great!!! Though I might change the color of the letters...... Maybe black or gray.... But other than that it looks great!!!
