there are lots of people who draw with MS paint even though they've got other art programs.

and there are other free art programs you can use C;

D'aww,people standing up for Paint <3 it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

 but srsly,paint is just like any other art program,the onliest difference is that on other programs you get 'discounts' aka special effects and layers. If you cant do stuff the simple way,why are you so confident that you'll get it right with stuff like PS?

Thats just like not knowing how to turn on a PC,but still wanting to become a programmer or something

 plus you can always get the fancy programs cracked/hacked and whatever.This is the internet dear,everything possible

As far as i know, you CAN make layers in ms paint.

I forgot how, but you can.

I think Mircosoft has released a 'beta' version of MSp3, that includes layers, a grid, and a few other special effects.

that new version of MSPaint is nothing like MSPaint.

MSPaint is AWESOME and I LOVE it and it can't be replaced :C go pixel art!

Yeh.. I remember my dad trying to save some pictures I was scanning onto his computer as jpegs, quite a while ago. I 'bout had a fit over it. x3

Anywai. Yah, Paint can be pretty gewd, with some practice. Seems like people always give you double points if you used Paint. xD

And recently I was messing around with Paint and got to trying some of the new brush tools.. It didn't seem like they belonged there at all.

I love MS Paint! <3 It's straight to the point and pretty easy to use.

Still trying to get used to the Pencil tool. xP

I have used MS paint for... how many years? About 8 years now, I have tried Photoshop, ect but can never understand it. I always use MS paint, you just gotta know what tricks you can do with it and how it will effect you drawings. After 8 years, i still cannot master Fur on dogs, cats, ect but I'm gettign there. I draw horses mostly so I'm used to solid based colour palets.

Trial and error is all I can say. But the paint brush tool... just dosn't fit MS paint well. I always use the Pencil tool, Grid view (even if this give the illsion of darker work, i take it off and look ever time I do something) and work under the maginfier. This works for me cause i normal do work under 100x100 pixels.
