Normal User Posts: 3,642	The only thing that doesn't look right to me about your people is their chins. Most people's chins and lower lips are recessed a bit, unless they have an overbite or something; perhaps you should try pushing the chin and lower lip inward. ;o And yah, the rough edges kinda give your paintings character. Despite attempting to be a perfectionist, I always feel all.. drawn to not-quite-perfect things. It's like they have a hint of chaos~

Normal User Posts: 1,775	Yeah I know. D: I know nothing about the anatomy of the face other than the basics. I've tried studying books about human anatomy but it seems a bit futile. Anyways, my subjects keep moving around (because they don't know I'm drawing them) so it's pretty hard to sketch them. I like chaotic paintings, in fact I'd like to be able to do those sort of things, but my theory is that if I could do things all perfect-perfect like I have complete control for all the chaos things I may do. However, I haven't really improved my painting skills at all for two years. I've just got a tiny bit better in observation.
