The young teen peeked out of her bedroom, the door barely open. She smirked deviously, as she slipped out, as silent as could be. She walked down the carpet-lined stairs, looking about, but a voice startled her. 

"Alex, what the heck are you doing?" Her older sister laughed quietly, smiling up at Alex from the bottom of the stairs. "Uhhh... Going outside?" Alex smirked nervously, her pale blue eyes scanning Kylar's face. "Alex, you know you're grounded for one more week. Now stop trying to out-sneak the master." Kylar laughed, walking over to the large, blue couch, sitting in the middle of the living room.

A squeak caught Alex's attention, and she stayed silent and still, listening closely. As soon as she heard it again, she ran down the steps, dashing to the door. "ALEX!" Kylar yelled, clearly un-amused with her actions. Alex quickly open the door, but froze, looking to her bare feet. A baby, and mutant, Meiko was just sitting at her feet, making a squeak every few minutes. "Oh goodness..." Kylar groaned quietly, looking at the baby Meiko.

"Awww... Poor lil' guy. I bet no one let him in because he was a mutant... Well, welcome home, buddy!" Alex giggled, picking up the Meiko. "Eh, we already have two Zaphao cubs(?), a Calico Veram, and SEVERAL eggs in the incubator. Now you want to take in a mutant?" Kylar sighed, watching Alex cradle the mutant Meiko in her arms. "He may be a mutant, but I bet he's a marvelous little guy." Alex cooed, clearly in love with the tiny creature.

"Fine, but he's all YOUR responsibility. You'll have to earn money for his food, not me." Kylar huffed, walking back to the couch. "Okay!" Alex shot back, before walking upstairs to her room, the new addition fast asleep in her arms. "Hmm... I'll just name you... Mr. Gorgeous!" Alex snickered under her breath, then went to work making him a bed out of her soft, comfy cushions and bed sheets.

Okaaay... Where I got the idea, is from my little guy, Mr. Gorgeous (yes, that's literally his name). I hatched him out, and to my surprise he was a mutant. His egg was only 3 days old, so, it kinda took me by surprise. 

And, at first, I was thinking of putting him up for auction... But, I had a change of heart and take a favoring to the lil' guy!

:3 So, I'm adding him into Alex's stories, as her very own Creatu!
