I'm waiting, I'm waiting,
for that bright summer day;
children playing across the way.
And everything is right; still the same.
I'm searching, I'm searching,
for a place within my mind;
filled with love and sweetness so kind.
Somewhere away, not led astray.
I'm watching, I'm watching,
for a dove on wings gold;
a mother's love for one to hold.
Where one is lost, yet not alone.
I'm listening, I'm listening,
for the beat of our hearts;
that prove for once, we are not apart.
And together we stay, together we stay.

;~; So beautiful. I love the ''dove on wings gold'' phrase. It's just... incredibly beautiful, Det. ~<3
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually. ... ... Screw it. HYE. ♥

Darkened grottos haunted by beasts Shaded meadows under trees Creeping shadows twisting and weaving Mourning gallows softly weeping
Dude, it was three in the morning when I wrote this. Jet lag ftw. 8I

Morning star, Morning star, bless each all nightly Shine down on earth with light so brightly
Original formatting is blah...formatting as in the way the poem is structured. I don't even. /facepalm

Cross the road don't look back Ravaged men on the rack Betrayed, betrayer make no distinction Lest life you live turn to fiction Waking dreamers and hidden treasures Come join me and have your pleasure
Have some more punctuation-less poems. 8D

It’s dark out and the stars, they’re shining, but I see nothing I hear the mourners weeping and wailing in the night Banshees how they scream how they howl more beast than anything I’ve seen
OHAY. Look at this non-rhyming poem...SAY WHAT? Oh, and why I'm not posting all the poems at once...I dunno. 8I

Dance the wild caper, Drink the faery mead, Spend your coin, become the beggar, And lose your mind to greed.
Compelled by beauty, Misled by glamour, The endless bounty, the boundless splendour, Man, you are quite the pretender.
The Unseelie queen has captured your heart,
Right. Unfinished poem. I'm going to go smack that second verse so hard...@__@ I need an extra line on 'Join the feast of plenty,'. If you have suggestions, shoot 'em at me. EDIT: Fixed that pesky second verse. >8(

Count your treasures one by one,
For they'll be gone time Jester comes
To stop the Jester is quite a task,
For she hides behind the gilded mask
Fine-spun cloths and shining jewels,
Made so we can break the rules
Hide your shinys if so inclined,
But nothing rends the Jester blind
Dancing figures, one and two,
Swirl around on tapping shoes
Slinking 'twixt men and women,
Begins robber's time for our fine brethren
So count your blessings one by one,
For ye shall learn by day is done
That none can stop the Jester's follies,
Go, go away and stick to your dollies

She slips between the twirling figures, eyes alight on a forbidden prize,
clothed in adornments greatly jewelled, our hidden thief walks a guise Glittering masks; bronze, silver, gold, catch our eyes in a dazzled hold Hearts beating, pumping, within our chests we realize our souls are sold

Thanks, Midnight. And it's really just practice, and a nice place to sit down and work from. :'D
I used to be one of those 'wannabe' writers, really. I attempted to role-play, wrote some...stuff I want to burn (dunno where it went BI) and yeah. But now I love to write and I know I'm sort of good at it, but I can still improve.
So practice if you love writing. :D I'd love to see some of your stuff. <3

We will bring death upon sorrowed wings, and mourn the passing of time But all that is lost can yet be found, in chambered labyrinth that is thy mind Eyes stare crossly, thine heart beats fast, yet ye still pray there is time to last
Flee now, quick! Thy army marches 'cross frozen gloom and silver marshes Banners high and soldiers dreaming, bringing truth on swords yet gleaming Tend the fire and light the wick, for ye think war is all redeeming!
But truth beats all, as thine mother knows, and your lies untold will now unfold Do not touch the flaming ember, for of your past do ye remember?
Rhyming stuff. ~O^O~ I don't think this means anything. LOL

Pain flared through her body. It did not relent even as she let out a low moan of fear, muscles twitching and breaths ragged within her chest. Cyan eyes snapped open and stared blankly upwards. She lay on a hard surface, small objects digging painfully into her ribs. Panting and gagging at the fearful stench surrounding her, the white she-wolf tried to make sense of what was happening. Foreign paws touched her fur gently. They stroked through her tangled fur, invasive and frightening. Above Kraliçe voices mumbled in low tones, though she could not understand what they said. The paws disappeared from her body. Tensing, Kraliçe felt multiple presences crowd around her. Their low voices dipped and swayed as they conversed. There was a lull in the air, and then, with quick precision, Kraliçe felt something stab into her shoulder. She jumped and yelped loudly. Mouth open Kraliçe let out a growl and tried to snap at the offender. Long appendages wrapped around her muzzle, effectively silencing the furious wolf. Deep growls resounded in her throat even as she attempted to kick out with her legs. Nothing came of it, though, as they were roughly bound by some tough vine. Shhhh… The noise echoed in Kraliçe's ears as the stabbing in her shoulder resumed. It came and went steadily, plunging deep into the fur and flesh. The burning sensation trailed slowly down her shoulder and curved along the tender edges of her flank. With each puncture, Kraliçe was certain it hit bone. Head forced down by the rough-edged paw, Kraliçe could see nothing. The only sensation that reigned was pain. She had blacked out a few times during the ordeal. Each time Kraliçe awoke, the pain was still there. It burned through her veins and curved through her body, slashing through her like an enemy's tooth. Perhaps it took hours, days, Kraliçe could not tell. But by the time the sensation lifted, she was shaken to the core and near dead with fear. Her pelt was oily and tatted and her teeth chattered from underneath the gripping hand. There were more voices above before all restraints disappeared. The figures moved away, their movements' jerky. Lifting her head Kraliçe blinked bleary blue eyes, attempting to understand what was going on. Mmm, torturing my baby Kraliçe. 83

The first look confirmed that her captors were humans, a creature Kraliçe had little time nor patience for. They were tall and gangly, covered with thin shiny pelts of seemingly random colours. Just like wolves, Kraliçe could see they were all slightly different. A large one, hulking and walking with an alpha's presence, padded up to her prone body. Eyes wild and rolling, Kraliçe whimpered and kicked feebly with her hind legs. The male growled, and received nods all around. Though Kraliçe could not understand what they were saying, she picked up multiple high-pitched noises from the humans. Break her… There was a thump and a squeal as the humans dragged Kraliçe from the hard surface. Hands grasped at her, squeezing and clenching painfully. With a heave, they threw Kraliçe to the ground. Scrabbling in the dirt, Kraliçe fought her way to a standing position. Skinny legs fumbled against the ground frantically as shouts echoed in the air around her. Seeking an escape, Kraliçe ducked between two tree-trunk legs that blocked her path. Snapping and growling, eyes red-rimmed with fear, Kraliçe dashed out of the camp. More! :D
