Slasher's POV: Oh, wow, everything is perfect! I just got the guy of my dreams, and he's shouting my name and running toward me. "JACOB!" I shouted, running forward. We were about to kiss, but suddenly, I heard ringing. I woke up. Ugh, it was just a dream! Gr, I would stay asleep in that dream for the rest of my life if I could! I grabbed the alarm clock and smashed it into little pieces. My name is Slasher Glacier Canrade, and welcome to my sad life.
I got dressed in a blue T-shirt with a black tie, and a blue and green skirt. I walked downstairs. Toby, my grey cat with almond blue eyes, looked at me. "Not now, Toby." I told him, brushing a lock of my hair and sitting down. Mom made me breakfast. I ate my eggs quickly and grabbed my back-pack and skateboard. Before Mom could respond, I leaped on my skateboard with my back-pack on my shoulders, opening the door, and skateboarding out of the house to school. "Hey, Joe!" I greeted the old man outside of the supermarket. "Morning, Slasher!" Joe smiled and waved. He threw an apple. I caught it and continued boarding. I skated passed three little girls jump-roping. "Hi, Slashy!" Little Anna called. "Hi, Anna, Mary, and Kate!" I called to them. About fifteen minutes later, I was finally at school. Cameron and Jacob, my two best friends since preschool, ran to him. "Hi, Slash!" Jacob smiled. I smiled back at him. What kind of friend was I? I had a crush on my own best friend! I can't believe I held Silver's hand in the first grade! But who could blame me? I wanted his markers and they were fruit-scented! Cameron shook my shoulders away from my daydream. Ugh, I wanted to slap her upside the head for taking me out ofmy daydream. "Um, yeah, let's go." I grinned like an idiot and walked inside the building. Cameron and Jacob followed close from behind me. We walked to our lockers. He noticed a poster on the wall. 'Prom's coming!' I grumbled. Why now? I love Jacob, the most popular girl in school, Sheila, keeps flirting with him! I need to do something! Curse my sweet personality! I banged my head against my locker. Why did the first year in high school have to be so hard?!
Jacob's POV:
If only she knew. If only I wasn't a coward. If only Cameron didn't steal my waffles this morning- Hey, wait a minute, that's off-topic! Alright, back to reality. I wish Slasher knew- Hey, back away from my point of view! Go to Cameron's instead! Isn't this supposed to be Slasher's story?! And stop reading! I SAID STOP IT! Oh, no! My life is trapped in a story! NOOOOOOO!!!!!
Cameron's POV:
Hm. Waffles. Heh. I'll eat cereal in class again and then dump it in Jacob's back-pack when the teacher comes in. Hey, get that camera out of face! *picks up hammer and chases after camera crew*
Slasher's POV:
Hey, why is Jacob yelling at himself? And why on Earth is Cameron swinging a baseball bat at a toy camera? Anyways, class is about to start. I picked up my books and headed to class. Jacob did the same. Cameron was already in the classroom before we were. She was once again eating cereal and bacon strips at her desk. "Are you eating breakfast in the class again?" He glared at her. Cameron smiled and nodded. Jacob and I sat down. The teacher came in. Cameron blinked and pushed her cereal bowl, silverwear, napkins, food matt, cereal box, and a large carton of milk that had it's cap off off of her desk, and it all landed in Jacob's back-pack. I giggled. Cameron gave me a bacon strip while the teacher wasn't looking. I took it and slowly nibbled. Cameron did the same. Jacob turned around and stared at his back-pack. He grumbled. This was the twentieth book-bag this year, and it's been less than a year!
