I looked through a tiny crack in my egg. Someone was coming! He gasped as he found me. He picked me up and ran out of the cave. Moments later, I busted out of my egg. "Whoa!" The man said. He brushed me off and held me tight. I looked around. It seemed we were at an auction house. Oh no! I was going to be sold!

~Chapter 2~

There I was, up on a counter while people yelled out their bids. "2 million for the Sepia Iluvu! Going once, going twice, sold for 2 million!" I heard the man say. Then, a little kid came rushing up to me, smiling. "I'm William, your new owner! Oh, were going to have so much fun together! And you need a name, too... Digger! That's your new name!" He said happily. William scooped me up and took me away.

~Chapter 3~ 

I was laughed at all the way to my new home. "Hey! What's that ugly monster in your hand, Will?" Someone said. I have to admit, I wasn't the most handsome or prettiest Iluvu on the block. But hey? No one's perfect. When we arrived, I saw a beautiful apartment building with blue and yellow highlights. I think we were in Relcore.

~Chapter 4~ 

What could be worse than getting bathed? "Oh William, he's so cute! What'd ya name him?" A girl asked while she scrubbing my head with soap. "Digger," Will replied. "Cool name. I'm Nora," the girl said to me. I liked her. She was the only one who thought I looked good. Even William thought I looked weird. I yelped suddenly after Nora dunked me quickly under the water to wash off the bubbles. "Sorry Digger! I should've warned you!" Nora apologized. I spat out water and looked at Nora. I smiled, a sign to tell her that I was okay.

~Chapter 5~ 

Years flew by as quick as the speed of light. As I grew up, the hearts on my fur began to get bigger, just like my real heart inside. William and Nora soon raised me up and loved on me. Luck. It was true luck that Will had the winning bid at the auction a long time ago. It was luck that brought me here today. It was luck that William and Nora liked me. True luck. And I'm so thankful for it.
