Haikus:
An ancient form of Japanese poetry comprised of one stanza where the lines are limited by their syllables.
Each Haiku should be in the syllabic form: 5 - 7 - 5
I'll place a few of my Haikus here, and you can share yours. (: I love haikus and hope you enjoy them as well.
Dreaming Ghost
She's but a whisper
A fragrance in the cool breeze
Craving to be real.
Outsanity
The subtle bleating
Of impractical knowledge
From those around me
Unrequented Love
The act of giving
One's heart, soul, and devotion
Returned; disregard.
The Winter
A chilling blanket
Of white and crystalline bliss
Tucks us in to sleep.
Corruption Among Forces
Don't do the crime if
You can't pay the fine. I mean,
Cannot do the time
Nature
Colors that change with
The temperature can lull
Me softly to sleep.
Faith
Following blindly
The ones with faith in themselves
To know where to go.
Soda
A bubbly liquid
To pleasure your sensations
And cause a quaint belch.
