...Yeah...Wrote these poems a while back, and thought I'd post them for others to read. I'm not sure how good they are, as that goes, but...yeah...who knows. If people like them, maybe I'll even add more.
A poem in the darkness

Sometimes the sun is shining;
And sometimes it is not.
Sometimes our way is lit for us;
Sometimes, but not a lot.
So enjoy the mist and clouds today;
It’s rain that brings new life.
And know the unknown paths can bring
New joys as well of strife.
In your heart this truth do hold,
As a ray of shining light,
For when the way is dark and cold,
It’s us that must be bright.

Oh, the dreams
spinning through my head.
Oh the wonder of it all,
and oh, the tears I've shed.
Like a puzzle
I cannot solve,
love around hatred
seems to revolve.
What is night
when there is no day?
What is light if
there are no shades of gray?
And I, I wish
I could escape;
all the hate, tears
into a story mine to shape.
And I, I wish
to remain here,
in the beauty of dawn,
made bright by the tears.
For what is a dawn
without the night?
And without the darkness
nothing would be bright.
And oh, the dreams
spinning through my head.
Oh the wonder of it all,
the beauty of the life I've led.
