Continueation of Chapter 5

They all seemed to crow at each other and look towards Emma's direction. Their ears pricked and they started walking back to her house. "I wonder why she's been outside for so long?" Niki closed all her books and cleaned up her big mess from the middle of the floor. "I think I should go check it out..." Niki got up, put her stuff away, and went out to the front yard. It was wet and mud was everywhere. She carefully walked threw the yard trying not to step in a muddy sink hole. "Emma?" She looked everywhere. She started walking towards the forest. "She probably threw the stick to far and had to go find it for Kitten." She sighed and kept going. She had just gotten at least five feet into the forest when "BOOM"

Chapter 6

Niki fell flat on the floor. She got up holding her head and squinting her eyes. Suddenly Emma stood up infront of her holding her head and squinting. "Emma?" Niki just stood there with a puzzled look upon her face. "Niki! Listen...We have to go!" Emma grabbed Niki's hand and drug her back to the house. Niki stopped on the first marble step, "Wheres Kitten...And whats going on?" She began to panic. Emma sat down next to her on the porch. "Well I saw a bunch of those griphans...And I can't find Kitten! Now those griphans are coming back here, thats why I started running." Emma put her head down and sighed. "What!?"

Continueation of Chapter 6

Niki got up and went into the house, Emma followed. Emma sat down on the couch while Niki flailed her arms around and began to pace. "What if they killed Kitten? What if they kill us? Wait! Maybe I can talk to them...Na. What if I can't talk to them!?" Emma grabbed Niki and pulled her onto the couch. "Don't worry, We can figure this out. And I'm sure they haven't killed Kitten, I heard him barking! And they probably wont kill us." Suddenly there was a loud thump in the backyard and then a small but faint bark. Emma and Niki glanced at each other then ra to he back door. When they opened it and a small black dot ran in. It stopped and turned to look at the girls. "Kitten!" The girls ran to Kitten and snuggled him.There was a loud crack then a small knock. Niki went to the back door and Emma followed, carrying Kitten.

Chapter 7

There befor them stood a big black griphan. It looked just like a yellow one but a bit bigger, it was also different colored. It had big black feathered wings. It also had red and purple tiger like streaks on its back. The girls stared in aw at the griphan. Behind it stood the yellow one, and two others. Theblack one stared deep into Niki's eyes. I believe this small black one belongs to you. Niki could hear the griphan speak, again. You are the only ones that can help our kind, Niki and Emma. Visit us in the forest for your next direction. Niki blinked and so did the griphan. Then it looked down at the girls, nodded, and flew away-the others following. Emma looked at Niki and smiled, "What did it say?"

Continueation of Chapter 7

Niki rubbed her head then sat criss cross on the floor, between the door-so it wouldn't close. "It said," She began as Emma sat next to her. "I believe this small black one belongs to you. You are the only ones that can help our kind, Niki and Emma. Visit us in the forest for your next direction." She stopped and walked to her room, while Emma followed. They both curled up in there beds and Kitten hid under Niki's bed. And of they went, eager to start there mission tomorrow.
