The Fog

Thick as mist, yet heavier.

It presses down on your soul,

Making you gasp for air.

A predator slipped through the fog,

Like a cat slinking in the brush.

An innocent girl, would be the victim.

A scream that would never be heard,

Sounded the predator's victory.

The only trace were the bloodstains on the ground,

And the echo of the predator's footsteps,

Retreating back into the fog.

Scary! If you have a good imagination, this makes your heart race. I like the second half better.

Thanks! I got my inspiration by waking up one morning and it was foggy, then I saw a cat kill the mouse, using the fog to it's advantage.

Him

He's kind and comp*censored*ionate.

He cares.

He won't leave you when you're in need.

Some people call him crazy.

I call him unique.

He's the ultimate stress ball.

Sometimes he can be snappy.

Sometimes he can be sad.

But it's just him.

Fire

How can something,

so essential to life,

be so destructive?

Every living thing,

requires some sort of heat,

most of which comes from fire.

Yet, it's so harmful.

Can't the human race just,

eliminate all fires,

like they do with things,

that they are scared of?

If it touches something,

it immediately devours it,

forcing it to return to the earth,

in a blackened state.

Targets

Apparently,

I've become the target,

Of all rumors.

Not just rumors,

But bullying too.

Do I have a bullseye,

Painted on my back?

Or am I just unlucky?

Why me?

Why now?

Am I really the target?

Or am I just a decoy,

In the master plan?

Robots

How can humans

be so sick

to create a being

that can't speak,

nor express emotions?

How would you feel

if you had

a fixed ex

on your face

at all times?

Humans control you.

You don't have a choice.

Of course sometimes

even humans don't have a choice.

Is everybody just

a robot in a laboratory?

Being controlled by a puppetmaster?

Or can we stand and make our own decisions

and fight to have a say in things?

Lies

What do you do,

when your whole life is turned into

one big lie?

What do you do,

when you have to listen

to people tell you all about

your own life?

Well, I believe that you should tell them

about your life.

Correct the mistakes.

Put a bandaid on the wound.

Cry me a river.

And get over it.

Shall we fall into darkness?

By the glow of the moon,

And the glare of the sun,

We all fall like flies.

Should we stay?

We all fall to the ground.

We wear crimson coats.

Coated in blood and sweat and shame.

The whole world now knows our name.

For the world we did fight.

Bind me, cuff me-

I will still speak.

You cannot break me.

Cage me, tie me-

I will still fight.

You cannot make me,

do what you want.

I will do what

I please whether you like it

or not.

I will not stay forever caged.

She licks my face.
