Prologue:

When most people tell a story about a princess, it's a tale of a girl from a royal blood line meeting her knight in shining armor, who just happens to be a prince.

When most people tell a story about a princess, it's love at first sight.

When most people tell a story about a princess, it usually ends with, "And they lived happily ever after."

I'm a princess, but when I met my so called, "Knight in shining armor," I was disgusted. It was definately not love at first sight, and I'm guaranteeing you that my story is not going to end with those words.

In my life, there will never be a, "Happily ever after."

So what did you think of that? I'm going to put up a chapter soon. I'm not going to tell you what it's about. You'll just have to see~

Chapter One:

I remember dressing up in frilly, overly-expensive dresses and prancing around the halls of my father's castle with a parasol. My twin brother and I would play the whole, "Damsel in Distress" scenario. He would always rescue me. We would play that for hours until we finally got tired of it, and we would take a nap together.

I remember pouting and throwing tantrums because I didn't get exactly what I wanted. If I wanted dessert for breakfast, I got chocolate cake. If I wanted a pretty dress, I would have the maids adjust the fabric it until it fit to my needs. I was so spoiled then. Of course, I was a princess. The whole kingdom looked up to me.

I took those times for granted. I didn't cherish every moment I slept in a five-thousand dollar silk night gown. I didn't cherish playing with my twin brother. And most of all, I didn't cherish my family. How did I figure this out, you ask? Being in the woods for a little over a year can do that to you.

The silence of the forest was something that I was used to. The wolves in front of me greeted me as I slowly entered into their den, which was a cave. I walked over towards my best friend,
