He had called me at 7:00 A.M. and told me to meet him in an hour at the old alley behind his house. I was reluctant, he wasn't human. But I loved him, and I trusted him. I got on some fairly nice clothes and headed out the door at 7:45 A.M. By the time I had drove there, it was almost 8:00. He was leaning againist the brick wall of the alley, his brown-amber eyes gleaming in the darkness, burning into my skin. In a split second he was beside me. He looked at me and slowly said, "Are you ready?" I took a step back and finally decided, I'm not taking the risk of saying no. At last I nodded. He bared his fangs, took a step forward, and I tried to forget the horrifiying pain.
